Great device. Just don't yank it out without safe removal option!
This is an awesome drive EXCEPT I ruined one because I did not use the "Safely Remove Drive" option before removing it. Doing so caused the drive to become unreadable and effectively destroyed. Just do it properly, and you will be fine.

Good drive
I bought this to specifically to make a windows restoration drive and a month later I unfortunately had to put it too use. The drive has worked flawlessly in my limited use. I have a smaller drive from this brand I bought years ago, and it still works great. Highly recommend this companies USB drives.

Quality at a good price
It is a solid build and quickly allowed down loading over 400 CDs ripped to MP3 at 320 kbps sample rate.

Plug & play!
When my 2-yr-old laptop seemed to be having start-up issues (tirns out it was the brick/power cord), it began 'strongly suggesting' I create a "recovery disk/drive" when it DID successfully make it through the boot process. After extensive research, I settled on this flash drive, crossed my fingers, and awaited its arrival. At the same time, I also figured out my power cord issue and replaced it. My laptop appears to be unharmed, but I decided that a recovery flash drive was still a really good 'suggestion.'Imagine my surprise when I plugged this flash drive in and the only hard decision was whether or not I wanted my laptop to erase its preloaded installation files?! (Yes, my darling laptop, you do you and I'll just observe...) Creating a recovery drive was THAT simple! This little flash drive was a perfect choice. My HP Envy did all the work. Incidentally, it required a FULL 32Gb to complete the task so I figured a 64Gb flash drive would be the ideal choice. Everything went according to plan, it took roughly half an hour to complete the task, and I couldn't be happier! ππΌππΌ
