The ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0 is an upgraded version of the original ReSpeaker Mic Array v1.0. This upgraded version is made based on the XVF-3000, which is much more performance chipset than the XMOS XVSM-2000 you used before. This chipset includes many voice recognition algorithms to help performance. This array can be stacked (linked) on the top of the original ReSpeaker Core and greatly improves audio interaction. The microphone has also been improved in this version. With only 4 microphones, we have significantly improved performance over the first generation microphone array.

ReSpeaker Mic Array v2.0 directly supports USB Audio Class 1.0 (UAC 1.0) All major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, are compatible with UAC 1.0, allowing the mic array to function as a sound card without a ReSpeaker Core, while retaining voice algorithms such as DoA, BF and AEC.
