They got 4 stars only because if used in rocky faster loving waters sometimes the plastic line slider donut will separate, easily fixed with a little glue or even a plastic welder. Or due to cheap price just use a new one lol. They've worked great this entire past season for everything from carp to flathead cars to channel & white cats as well as numerous other species bottom fishing. Using these rigs combined with a donut sinker really seemed to reduce my amount of snagging and greatly increased my successful retrieval of my rugs even when getting snagged. I also saw a definite increase in my hook up and catch in catfish species! I've used them on various types of lines from regular mono to fluoro to fluoro hybrid as well as PowerPro braid very successfully!

I'm a big fan of slip rigs these days. You can set depth with a stop knot and bead and everything slides down to the end of your line when you cast. This lets you get more distance when casting, and keeps everything neatly together when you put up your gear.

I fish quite often. I decided to try these. I like them. I put them on my line with a regular leader. Using a weight on these a turns my regular leader into a double leader. These are small so they are not for large weights. However I have used them to catch bluegill and channel catfish. I believe they are a good buy

I use and lose more snap swivels in a season than I'd care to count. Usually, I get them at the store that shall not be named. I was looking for a better deal and came across these. Glad I did. I received 112 of them and all are in good condition. I can confirm they are 3 cm long and made of a decent thickness of wire. They open really and close securely. Just trying to break them by pulling on them wasn't successful. I was not concerned with the plastic line protector part as I will be using these for quick change outs of lures rather than for holding sinkers. I can confirm the plastic bits do come off easily, which is perfect for my needs. Based on previous experience and the look of these, I don't think I'll have any problems with the fish I usually target, which go from bluegills up to bass in the 8-10 pound range. I don't use snaps when specifically fishing for anything bigger than that, such as catfish or carp, but these should readily handle bullhead and small flatheads. I certainly wouldn't use these for surf fishing if we had any surf in Missouri. I will be buying more of these.Update: I've been out and using these several times now and my original thoughts above were correct. I have not had one open on me or otherwise fail. Getting hung up with 12lb mono, I have either had the knot fail or the line break. I've had snaps before that would come unclipped and straighten out trying to get unhung, so the fact these won't do that is nice. I don't have to worry about snap failure with a fish, which I've also had happen. These are definitely 5 star pieces.

Is Amazon getting like Wish, I ordered this suppose to be saltwater sinker slide(aka fish finder). there's no way a #3- #4- #5- or #6oz. sinker will fit on this tiny excuse called fishing tackle (Ha). I Hate it; and can't be used for the type of fishing that i do!. I'm going to try and send this garbage back ! Now i sit here and how the Gamagatzu Hooks are going to look like; Oh that's rite i have too waite until the 22nd of June to see if they sent the 9/0 circle hooks. these items were suppose to be for my Father's Day fishing trip.

I used this rig for my leader and I like how versatile it is. I made a few different rigs with this and I just clip everything off at the end of the day. Very good to make mackerel rigs with multiple hooks!

Used them last night and got a 7# blue cat. They work well, just make sure your weight has a wire loop to connect to. Slide very easily up and down the line

the hole will maybe take 8 10 lb mono. the clip might take a 1/ 4 oz sinker. Totally worthless, and not worth the gas for me to return it.
