But most of all, it is one of the few phone in the market today that is NOT Made in communist China. By buying this phone not only will you enjoy its features and capabilities but you also help support a country with a vibrant democracy that respects the human rights of her people. This phone is Made in Taiwan, a country of 20+ million people situated south of Japan and North of the Philippines.

I purchased the HTC U12+ flame red in early Sept. The HTC U12+ is a great looking device that gets every day tasks done easily. The camera is above average and simple to use.Best things about this phone:1) Camera - sharp images, Auto HDR(HDR Boost 2) works great and keeps the camera from blowing out highlights, RAW capture allows you to do a lot of post processing2) Loud speakers - if you like to listen to talk radio/music on your phone while doing things around the house you'll be fine w/ this device3) Excellent bundled USB C earbuds - good dynamic range albeit a little uncomfortable at first4) Edge Launcher - highly customization app/contacts/utility launcher when squeezing phone. I use this feature often, useful for one handed use while on the go.5) Face Unlock - very fast and reliableThe Bad1) Edge Sense has a high learning curve. My phone immediately installed the firmware update which made Edge Sense reliable. However, it takes muscle memory to squeeze a glass phone and not feel like it's gonna slip out of your hand.2) One Handed Mode accidentally triggers often. Double tapping the side of the phone triggers one handed mode. At least two or three times a day I accidentally trigger one handed mode, annoying but no big deal.3) Holding Gestures like smart rotate are more trouble than it's worth. The phone wont rotate into landscape unless I change my grip on the phone. This is annoying when using Youtube and trying to get a video to go landscape.Other feedback: People have bashed the screen brightness on this device; although not terribly bright, it's perfectly usable in bright daylight. Indoors I can get away with 30-40% brightness. Also, the phone charges very fast.

I have owned two previous HTC models ( HTC one and 10 ) and been extremely pleased, but this has been the worst phone I have ever owned. It was not disclosed that wi-fi calling was unavailable until after purchase. The controls have been difficult to operate and the phone consistently shuts down, in the middle of use and requires a reset. Overall the worst phone ever purchased.
