TechRise 12-Led UV TorchThis is the first UV torch I've ever owned, I can't believe how useful it is. The torch is very well made, the body is made from blackened alloy metal, it has a raised serrated area much like a camera lens for easy grip. The screw in battery cover/switch also has a similar serrated ring which is easy to grip when removing to insert the batteries. The battery requirements are three AAA batteries which fit securely within a pop out battery holder. There is also a small lanyard fixed to the torch so you can secure it to your wrist.Worth noting - There is no mention in the listing of how weatherproof this torch is. I haven't put it to the test in wet weather but the on/off button has a rubber seal on top to protect it, also there is a rubber sealing ring around the screw thread of the battery cover which should keep moisture out. Maybe the manufacturers could update the listing to include this information?In use this gives a soft UV light which illuminates quite a large area, it has 12 UV LEDS built into the torch so it's quite powerful. I have used this within my garden shed to see if I can spot evidence of mice, I was horrified to find quite an infestation, the torch showed up evidence quite clearly. This torch has a solid construction and produces a good amount of UV light. I initially purchased it to set use with my UV resin/ glue, but I have been having fun with it in all sorts of ways.First and foremost is the light itself. It is strong enough and tight enough to serve my purpose. I also am having fun with it shining it all over the place (shining it in coffee makes it look green!). One purpose I did not think of until I got it was as a torch for night-time toilet breaks. It is strong enough to get you there and back without having to turn on the lights and blind yourself.The construction of the torch is solid and feels like a metal. I am tempted to say Aluminium because it is very lite, but I have no way of testing it and since they don’t mention it, it probably isn’t Still it feels strong and it does not break when you drop it a few times 😊. The button is big and covers the whole of the back of the torch.I was only looking for something to set some glue with but this little purchased turned out much better than I expected.

I keep finding cat wee on our hall floor and thought this would be ideal to find everywhere she is doing it. Unfortunately we have cream veined marble floor tiles, which doesn’t show anything up (apart from some paler patches in the veining) conversely I thought at first she was spraying up the oak doors, until I realised the osmo oil that the doors were treated with fluoresces, so you can see where the oil has dripped slightly when being applied, (unless she can actually spray at the top of the door!). The torch itself works fine, and it does show wee around the toilet, I am just unlucky with the surfaces I want to use it on.

Sturdy and well-built, good looking torch with many applications.Arrived very sensibly packaged (I don’t like packaging waste) and with quite minimal instructions but it has so many uses that extensive instructions wouldn’t really be appropriate. There is a warning not to look directly into the light, which is common sense really, and otherwise it’s simplicity to load and use. Three AAA batteries sit neatly in a cartridge inside. The casing is sturdy and well built, the end cap screws securely and the on/off button on the end feels robust.The listing mentions pet urine detection. We don’t have a pet so that’s not an issue but it will detect many other stains and dirt issues, - germophobes beware! It shows spills and/or tiny shards of glass from a broken wine glass that you think you’ve cleaned up properly, and even helps you to focus your toothbrush on the most stained areas of your teeth.I went all around the house with this torch; I find that the hidden secrets revealed are fascinating and - something the listing doesnt tell you - it’s really fun to see how everything looks! It’s worth the price for that alone. Very well made and good VFM.

This was bought, mainly, to check the house for anything left behind by our cat - as she likes to sometimes throw up behind furniture, and we don't always find it as soon as we would like...Nothing found, thankfully, but I'm sure that this UV Torch would have found it if anything was there. I've also used it, to check our kitchen and bathroom / cloakrooms - and it sees the smallest things. I'm pleased to say that they were all really clean, but the torch did find a few things in hard to reach areas that couldn't be seen in normal light - so it works well!Also good for checking bank notes, and glad that all ours are OK! :-)Design-wise: it looks great, in black metallic / rubber materials. Compact enough to fit in your pocket, but tough enough to easily survive being dropped onto a hard floor.I haven't tested it to see if it is waterproof, yet, but I'm positive that it is - as the seals at each end look high-quality.For the price (£4.99) it's great value for money, and recommended.

It didn’t spot any pee pee, an’ when I buy a torch to spot pee pee, I expect to spot pee pee. I could see when Sister Cathy (the cat) did a massive dump, because I could see it with my own eyes, an’ I didn’t need no torch. But I couldn’t see pee pee. I could smell it, but not see it, which is a bit disappointing when I buy a torch that is supposed to see pee pee.It doesn’t do what it says on the tin.Peace and Love

La torcia si presenta solida e compatta, con la scocca realizzata in metallo e dotata di laccetto.Va alimentata con 3 batterie di tipo AAA non incluse nella confezione e inizia a scaldare leggermente dopo qualche minuto di utilizzo.Il fascio di luce è generato da 12 LED ed è abbastanza ampio. Per avere una buona efficacia è consigliabile utilizzare la torcia al buio.Sono riuscito a testarla con successo per evidenziare:- Tracce di cibo;- Tracce di unto;- Presenza di muffa;- Segni di autenticità su banconote;- Polvere.Dato il costo molto economico, questa torcia può essere acquistata anche per sola e pura curiosità: provate a illuminare, al buio, indumenti bianchi oppure le lampade led a filamento.

Cuándo la enciendes ves la cantidad de usos. Desde detectar billetes falsos, hasta ver la suciedad que tienen algunas prendas y no se ven. Y ya en el baño ni te cuento. Me encanta este juguete

Las manchas sin se ven.pero es como todas las linternas UV si las pilas bajan de potencia se ve cada vez menos. Nosotros usamos recargables y problema solucionado.

Ho deciso di procedere all'acquisto di questa torcia UV principalmente per la verifica delle banconote!Arrivata il giorno seguente all’emissione dell’ordine in una piccola scatola con all’interno oltre alla torcia stessa pure un piccolo foglietto illustrativoFunziona con 3 batterie ministilo(le classiche AAA)che non troverete però incluse nella scatolinaIllumina molto bene e mostra particolari non visibili ad occhio nudo di liquidi di vario tipo(provata con l’urina del gatto sul tappeto!)Ma la uso principalmente per testare l'autenticità delle banconoteLa torcia è tascabile(è lunga soli 10cm)ha un laccetto per evitare cadute accidentali e ha un tasto on/off posteriore a pressione.5 stelle strameritate per la qualità/prezzo/prestazioni!
