I tried to start my chainsaw a few weeks ago. Nada. I got to looking at it and most of the fuel lines were gone. I installed new lines with new fuel filters and the saw is running great. A few pointers since there are no instructions anywhere on how to install this. Cut the thicker fuel line at each end at a sharp angle. They fit tight going into the fuel tank, you don't want it leaking gas around the lines though. Feed through into the tank and grab the cut ends with Needle nose pliers. Guesstimate how much line you need in the tank, cut the angle off and put on the fuel filters. My kit had plenty of extra line to adjust with. One of these larger lines goes to the larger fitting on the carb, the other goes to the larger fitting on the primer bulb. The smaller fuel line goes from the other fuel bulb fitting to smaller inlet on the carb. I put in the new spark plug, cut the new air filter with scissors to match the old one. Took a bit of priming and pulling on the rope to get fuel to the carb but the saw fired up and ran great. Needs some high/low end adjustment. I was gonna go buy a new saw but decided to spend $12 on this kit first. Great buy!

Fuel line, oil line, and primer bulb needed replacement and this kit had all the parts necessary for the MAC 3214 chainsaw. The kit has two fuel filters but no oil filter, however, the existing oil filter cleaned up with no problems and was reused. Only the larger diameter fuel line is required for this repair. The air filter does not fit, so I ordered the Stens New Air Filter 100-586 (Compatible with Lawn-Boy F Series Engines) to make my own. One of these filters can be easily cut into two filters for the MAC 3214 chainsaw and they are inexpensive. The Stens foam is not as dense as the original filter so it may not filter as well.

My older McCulloch chain saw say for a long time and the bulb, all the gas lines, and the air filter were disintegrating. This kit helped me get it all back to where it should be, including new spark plug and oil and gas filters. I had to cut the air filter to size but that was easy.

The line was the correct size and there was enough to replace all of them. The spark plug fits but it's 3/4 inch socket rather than 5/8 which was what was on the chainsaw. It worked though. The filter will need to be cut down to size to fit, easy enough with some sharp scissors. Don't waste your time trying to push the line through. The line only needs to pass through a hole that's about 1/2inch long and goes into the fuel tank. You will need to use a piece of wire to pull the line through the hole. I used copper wire and hooked it through the line. The primer bulb is smaller but it does snap into place and fit. The fuel filter is a different style than what was on there but it seems to work as well. The bulb has an inlet and an outlet, the longer side is the outlet if I remember correctly. That is what you will connect to the line come out of the bottom hole.

Product solved my chainsaw starting issues. Plug fit my McCulloch 3200 chainsaw. Foam needed to be trimmed to fit in carb, and fuel lines fit exactly as if they were OEM!
