Royal Designs, Inc. Hardback Empire Chandelier Basic Shade CS-999-6BL, Burlap, 3 x 6 x 4.5

If you are fitting more than one of these in rather tight spaces as I am, the correct size is crucial! It states that this shade is 4.5" on the slant. It is NOT - it is 5"! I have a lamp with two staggered shades and 5" does not fit! I only ordered one to see the quality, so attached photo is with old shades. Even the hang tag that was attached states a 5" slant. Quality is superb, however!!

The picture showed a burlap covering over the lamp. There was no covering just a plain white lamp shade. VERY UNHAPPY! I AM RETURNING BOTH LAMP SHADES. NOT TO MENTION, I ordered 2 shades 1 of them showed up 3 days late!

I purchased a new home (colonial) that had a 'candle-lit' chandelier in the dining area. I am not a fan of 'candle' bulbs. I ordered these to fit over the top of the bare bulbs and it did the trick for me. By just covering over the bare bulbs, it gave the chandelier a little texture and interest. The light filters through nicely and the color was true beige. Product arrived on time, was packed well, and all was in perfect condition upon arrival.

Transformed my blah looking chandelier into a classy, modern, eye-catching fixture. These shades present a classy appearance, and are very well made. Quality material with superior double clips. Another plus over others I had seen was that they'll accommodate a 60 watt bulb as opposed to most shades, which will only handle a 40 watt bulb. This is key, because you do lose light output from the material the shades are made of. No problem, though, if you're able to use 60 watt bulbs.

OK, I did receive the three lamp shades, one problem with all of them is that when we tried to install them on the lampthe clips do not stay attached to the light bulbs, they just slip off, they are the correct type of light bulb bulbs....please advise.....yours truly Oscar Olenko oscaro@sympatico.ca thanks......

This is a nice shade but the lining is not gold it’s a pale yellowish color.

We have a beautiful chandelier in the foyer with 15 candle holders. Previous shades were tired looking and needed repair...decided to buy these. I did a lot of searching since we have a very nice home and this is what you see first. I could have paid two to three times the price but would have had difficulty beating the price and the quality.

This was too small for the lamp I wanted to put it on. It's totally my fault because I'm a terrible judge of inches. It's for a small bedside lamp. It's cute though for that!

Nice size lamp shade for the unique base that we have. My bulb is a regular size bulb so I had to bend the wires to make it fit.
