I’ve used this a few times... generally in light showers whilst walking and it worked well enough, however condensation was a problem..!Today, we were on a long hike and it rained heavily.... when I got home, I was as wet as if I didn’t have the cape on. It didn’t seem very waterproof.!!!

While somewhat cheap and potentially very useful, the poncho can be a tad too large (difficult to restore to bag) and the sides are kept together only by velcro which makes the item feel flimsy and unassuring. Improvements can definitely be made and a higher quality ponch may be the way to go, especally since this one may be a bit overpriced.

Good product, for the price.I have a large-ish head, and no problems with getting my head through the aperture.Like the open sheet function."Sleeves" could be longer

I used this poncho in the amazon jungle where it poured for hours on end for a number of days, It kept me completely dry, if you are planning to need a poncho often, the velcro could come away and need replacing, other than that, ot was really good.

Took it up Kilimanjaro in December, where it rained non stop. Has odd slits down the sides that cannot be closed... obviously became wet there. But other areas where covered, it worked well.

Big enough to keep me and the mobility scooter I hired in NYC dry when it rained. 1 time when it did rain it poured down for about 2 hours . It took me about 10 minutes to get into the shopping area and I was completely dry.

Not used yet so don't know if it'll keep the rain out, but got the big one so to go over a backpack easy, I see some reviews saying the head part was to small but for those with a little head it's perfect
