UNIVERSAL BBQ REPLACEMENT COOKING GRID GRILL PORCELAIN EXTENDABLE EXTRA LARGE

Each year I buy a BBQ grid and grill set for the purpose built charcoal BBQ on the terrace of my guest cottage. Every year, I watch sadly as the grill top rusts within weeks, regardless of whether it's been used or not. I replace it and watch the process repeat.Then I found one of these! Hooray! They're adjustable widthways, and this length fits exactly. It's heavy duty, coated with porcelain and will stay the course, rust free and looking smart throughout the year. And it was only a few quid more than the grid and grill set.I kept the base from the latest rusted BBQ set - it doesn't matter if that looks tatty as it's only going to be burning charcoal, but this porcelain coated grill top makes the whole BBQ look so much more hygienic and cared for. I'm really pleased.UPDATEThe grill has more than lived up to expectations so far this summer. It's had some quite heavy usage by guests, not all of whom have bothered to clean the barbeque after use, and I've expected trouble trying to clean it all up for incoming guests at changeover.This grill comes up pristine with a good squirt of general purpose cleaner, a rub down with a green scourer (no 'elbow grease' required) and a quick rinse off with the hose. The coating really is non-stick, burnt on grease and food isn't much effort to get off at all, and the grill looks fresh and shiny again ready for the next lot.
