Very beautiful battery operated taper candles
The media could not be loaded. I was given a Yule birch log for Christmas it had 3 tapered candles to go in the holes I did not want to use them so I ordered these battery operated ones. I put batteries in them when they came and they are so beautiful they look like vintage burning candles that flicker I truly love the way they look. I unscrew the base of the candle until it is unlit and they stay in place perfectly till I tighten the base battery holder and want them on again. I purchased the Ivory colored ones and they look great with my decor.

Don't work well
These either don't work from the very beginning, in other words, they never light up at all. Or, they stop working after you change the batteries for the first time. I've had two sets of these and neither were reliable. I bought some grungy/prim flame-less candles from another source five years ago and every single one of those worked and still work to this day. The seller was nice enough to send me a replacement and refunded me my money for these right away, and I have to say customer service was very good, but I cannot recommend this product at all. It's not worth the frustration.

Real wax is nice.
They are thicker as well so will fit snugly in holders and bottle tops. The downside is there is no switch so the batteries must be removed each time for off.

Overall ok
We bought these because we thought there would be a 6 hour timer. Heck Amazon thinks there is, along with a remote. The candles we received don’t have timers nor do they have a remote.Overall this are a nice candles although I wouldn’t repurchase because we want timers..

Junk!!!!
I was so disappointed when I received this product. The candles are simply junk. To start with they are short and fat, not tapered at all. Secondly, whatever it is they are covered in looks like...well, puke. Now, I will say when I put batteries in them that they did light up and flicker like a candle, so that was good. But, I took my batteries out of them and put them in the trash. Wasn't even worth my time to try to return them. If I could rate them a minus 5 I would.

2 months on one set of batteries
Ok, no remote or on/off but I put my 2 batteries in it when I got them and the battery life was about 2 months. Can't complain. I love the way they look for my candle holders. Really pretty perfect.

never turns off when daylight comes
nowadays, ALL battery operated things like this should be auto-off in daylight. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PAIN to have to get them out of their holder, unscrew the bottom caps halfway to turn them off, then re-tighten the next night!!!!! NEVER buy these! you'll spend all your time screwing around with turning them on and off. i bought some waxy candles like these about 5 years ago elsewhere and even back then, THEY WOULD auto turn on and off.

Wouldn’t Purchase Again
We wanted to add to ones that we purchased in Lancaster, PA. The don’t all come on at same time. They all go off at different times (they were all activated at the same time). The batteries don’t last long. The ones we purchased in Lancaster will operate just over 3 months. The ones from Amazon lasted about 30 days
