Nice lid. Heavy glass. Seems durable thought I won't be challenging it intentionally. I really like having the knob on the top. My old lids have tabs that stick out at the sides, so when you lift them, the hot steam from inside the bowl instantly scalds you unless you use mitts. With the top-center know, hands are out of the way of the escaping steam.

Bought this to replace the lid on a crock pot. The size is perfect, but the lid is not perfectly flat, so the seal isn't very good. Not sure I'll use it or find something better.

It is great to be able to replace items so quickly. I hope I get 20 years out of this piece as well.

My broken lid of my roasting dish.

I washed it after first use and put in the dish rack to dry, about an hour later I heard a weird noise from the dish rack. The glass had splintered and broke.

I had to replace the lid to one of my French White Corningware dish and this Pyrex lid was a perfect fit.The fact that the lid had a code that allowed me to quickly identify the size, is a wonderful feature.
