I need to scan really small 2D barcodes off computer equipment, will this can very small 2D barcodes ???

Is it possible to connect 2 devices to one iPad or to one Apple laptop?

Of course you can: the scanner is equivalent to a USB keyboard therefore follows the same concept.

Does this have a point to attach a lanyard or a wrist strap?

No there is no connection point

Is the battery user-replaceable, or do you have to throw the whole scanner away once the battery dies?
