Plus Size Ladies, Consider It
I'm plus size: I weigh 200 lbs, wear a size 18 or 20 and my measurements are 44 bust, 42 waist, 49 hip. I'm 5'7". I was on the fence about this slip. The amount of spandex in it is what gave me the courage to go ahead and order it. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I got the 38 and while it doesn't hang straight and loose on me like it would someone more slender, it fits GREAT. With my hips and belly, I expected it to be somewhat tight and it isn't. Yes, there's a small amount of pull around my round middle, but it is exactly the slip I wanted to wear under my maxi dresses. It hits me lower calf, maybe 5" above my ankle. I especially needed a slip to wear under a white maxi dress I'll be wearing for our upcoming beach family portraits. The option to wear it with the straight neckline or v-neck is an awesome bonus. Great maxi slip.

Slip twists/bunches under dress
I give Vanity Fair credit for making a full length slip, there are NOT a lot out there to choose from online or in stores. Sadly this slip falls short as functioning as a slip. The pros:I ordered a small - I’m 5’3, 114 lbs. The length of the slip was perfect on me. It came to about mid-calf.It was not sheer which is exactly what I was looking for.Cons:The top of the slip was large on me. I’m a 32D and without adjustable straps, the top of this slip hung loosely. I ordered it knowing that I could reverse it to the v-neck side or the square neck side so that was my hope in it fitting. Regardless of which side it was on, there was a lot of material that I wasn’t able to “fill out”. This is not Vanity Fair’s fault, but perhaps providing adjustable straps would be helpful to those of us who are petite. The biggest problem was wearing the slip under a dress, which it is made for:It literally would not stay put. Anytime I moved in the dress I intended to wear it with, the slip shifted. It would become twisted around my torso, the straps would begin to slip out from under the neckline of my dress and it would ride up under my dress.I think this slip could be improved upon in it’s fit and fabric.

Weird sizing, nice slip
OK, so I had no idea how the sizing was supposed to be on this thing when I bought it, so I got one that was HUGE the first time around. Just FYI, the first number is the width just below your chest (in other words, the number part of your bra size). I'm probably the only one who is confused about this, but I guess it can't hurt just to mention it.I got the 22 inch long one and it hits just above my knee. Other than that, no complaints about fit or anything. Decent product, good price.

good fit
I am 5'7" and usually wear a size 14-16 in dresses, shirts and pants, and a C-cup. (A lot of these reviewers say how it fits but then don't say how big they are!) I ordered the 40-22 and it is the right one for me. The length hits me at about mid-knee and the bodice fits fine without being too tight or two baggy.

Good Quality and Good Fit
Perfect for wearing under Tom's Fit and Flare sleeveless dresses. At 5'2" and 140-ish pounds, I was hoping for a slip that wouldn't need to be turned up. This slip hits about two inches above hem of dress (which hits at the top of my pudgy little knees). I ordered several other name brand full slips but none fit as well as this. I've been bosom-blessed and this slip accommodates my curves in a kind and well-fitting fashion. Yes, this slip costs a bit more than others but you won't need to buy another one for a decade or two. I (Angelo's wife, not Angelo) purchased the Damask neutral and plan to purchase in black.

A classic foundation piece
Thank you, VF, for still making what some would consider " old school" underclothes...But as long as we women wear dresses in well- lit environments, there will be a need. These are pretty, silky, well-fitting negligee- style slips, just below knee length, They do what they're re meant to: add a smooth, light opaque layer under dresses or skirt- blouse combinations. I bought one in black and one in beige. Four stars, five if a year from now they hold up to washing and wearing.

A perfect fit-no lines
The cut of this slip is as I'd hoped!. I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs, and was looking for a slip that would hit above the knees. I bought the medium. With minimal lace/no seaming over the bust area, the slip conforms/smooths out well. Pretty much disappears. The bottom half is loose and hangs nicely under clothes, doesn't creep up. It does come to about 2" above my knees, which is the longest I'd want.

revised sizing smaller product
I purchased this slip previously : style number 10-158 size 32" 38/44. Tag shows manufactured in USA. Current order of this item -same style number, same size - manufactured in Haiti - provided me with a slip that is 2" less wide across front and 1" less wide across the back. (I laid the slips flat and measured both seam to seam across front and back to verify this). So apparently, Vanity Fair revised the sizing. Like the shrinking jar of peanut butter and the candy bars that look the same but provide less product, somebody somewhere wanted to shave a few pennies off the manufacturing cost. I'm unhappy with this once-upon-a-time reliable company.
