Highest quality product in comparison to similar vessels available here on Amazon. Build quality is immediately apparent when holding the product in hand. Seal is tight and leak proof. The Corning glass walls are very thick, giving the impression that it could withstand quite a lot of force before shattering, although I have not tested this. Some reviews noted that measuring lines printed on the side are not accurate, which is just silly, since the lines are labeled as "APPROX. VOL." Also, if you're like me, you'll love the proportions of this little jar, with its oversized cap making it look almost cute.

The good:> Good quality, sturdy, cap hard to lose with that bright orange color.The bad:> The bottle holds 1 liter but the 1 liter fill line is NOT MARKED! This is very annoying if you need to very precisely fill the bottles to this amount. This is the only thing that kept this bottle from a 5-star rating.> The opening at the top is a little small; I would have preferred it to be a bit larger for ease of pouring liquids in, but it is adequate.

I'm using this bottle to store custom soda syrups for my sodastream, in my fridge. I specifically wanted a 500mL bottle.This appears to me to be a very high-quality, lab grade bottle. The glass is thick, and the lid is heavy duty with a good seal. It's overkill what for I use it for. I can't think of anything critical about it, I've been using it for several months.

I am so HAPPY that I found these bottles, I have been worried sick storing my homemade Soy and Almond milk as well as my morning mixed healthy greens in plastic bottle now with these bottles I can relax and enjoy, I ordered 8 two different sizes - they are not cheap but worth it "Can't buy health"UPDATEStill a five stars bottle however put them in the freezer at your own risk, one just cracked, I am not happy about that they cost too much!!

Genius PYREX two liter jug. Rated up to 140 degrees Celsius (well above the boiling point).Fits in my fridge door.I make tea for iced tea in my stovetop percolator pot. So I needed something to pour the boiling tea into - to cool down for ice tea.This is genius. Pyrex glass. Fits in fridge door. Does not absorb flavors.When not using for iced tea - I use to store urine samples for the lab - and it cleans up nicely in between.If you need more capacity - then buy two or four!

Best bottles in the world! We put our homemade ginger tea in these. Then I joke about getting a cup of "acid" to drink, due to the drip-ring, which acid bottles also have. It's pure delight to pour my tea without 1/2 of it running down the outside of the bottle, as with plain glass bottles. And the ginger tea is so hot and spicy, it really does feel like drinking acid. Yummy!

I don't go through a ton of petris, so I tend to just batch sterilize a few of these and keep them in the fridge wrapped in foil. Full to a comfortable pouring level, this can pour 8-12 60mm dishes or so, which is about perfect for me. I also have a 500 ml one of the same design that I use for bigger pours.

I decided to splurge on this for my pours and wow.... I mean WOW. What a difference that makes. No more side drips and I can pour slowly now. Other than that... What can I say? It's Pyrex!
