Vinyl Protective Cap for Fumoto 3/8" Nipple Automotive Valves

Fits well but too bad the fitting leaks like a sieve.

This fits snugly on my Fumoto F316L oil drain valve, and I would therefore venture to guess that they will fit generally any Fumoto valve. Out of the package, it was a little tricky to get on because it is so snug, but it is absolutely not coming off unless I pull it off. After sitting on the valve for a while, it believe it will slide back on without issue after the next oil change.. The material feels like a decent quality rubber-plastic compound, did not tear upon stretching, and is not visibly porous. I feel confident that this product with perform its function without issues.

The item description says "Fumoto F-Cap Accessory, 1 Pack", but the "1 pack" actually contains 2 small nipple caps for all Fumoto valves with a 3/8" OD nipple. Fits nice and tight on the Fumoto valve, and I now have a spare cap should the old one fall off or fail.

I decided to get the plug for the valve this time and was surprised to see that there was only 1 in the package. I feel that this price point for 1 item is a bit high. This is my second Fumoto drain valve purchase, upgraded to newer Truck. Sure enough when I went back and read the description it does indicate 1 item. The deceiving part is the picture showing 2 items. I tested the fit on the valve which isn't installed yet and it does fit snug. Hopefully it stays put on the F106SX valve which has a pretty short nipple.

Based on reviews that I read of these Fumoto oil drain valve caps, it appeared that while the picture on the site shows two caps, each order only includes one cap.I needed 2 caps; so I ordered two units. Guess what, each package now includes 2 (two) black Fumoto 3/8" valve drain nipples per package! So now I have 4 caps but only 2 oil drain valves. Spares I guess!So order accordingly.The picture doesn't lie!

Works great. Just silicone the plug on and let it dry.

Mine came 2 in a pack, but I was expecting just one based on other reviews so I ordered 4 packs. I have 4 Fumotos on my vehicles, and these nipples will keep debris out.They fit very snugly and are good quality.
