Fregula Tostata Fina, 17.66 Ounce

I ordered this because I saw fregola used on a cooking show, and I had never tried it. It is a little nutty in flavor, with a firm but varied texture. A delightful side dish!

Like others I got turned on to this pasta via a Blue Apron recipe and it's not an easy pasta to find locally. It doesn't have any cooking instructions on the bag, but thanks to the internet I found out how (boil gently in salted water for 15 minutes, drain but do not rinse) and it turned out wonderfully. Actually a lot better than the pasta I got with the original recipe kit, which had broken up some in the cooking process.

These were exactly what I needed for my recipe from Scott Conant.They were delicious, actually they were so good I bought more.

Didn’t get to try. Top of bag cut open and contents all over box. No return or replace. Waste of money.

Texture is great! Valuable addition to my recipe.

Great flavor. A little like orzo but better! Love it.

Best pasta ever. Expensive but 100% worth the money!

Followed cooking directions and it still was too al dente. Not worth the price for the taste. Nothing to write home about.
