OEM filter, easy to install, why pay dealer more $$$?
OEM as advertised from the seller I used (SubaruPartsOnline). Arrived very quickly, perfect condition (e.g shipped/packed well), fraction of what I would have paid at dealer. For a '19 Crosstrek incredibly easy to install (WAY easier than, for example, one in our '14 Nissan Rogue!). There are several good YouTube "how to" videos. Watch one, go out to your car and do it! Takes a couple minutes. ANYONE can do it! Save yourself a lot of ($$) and DIY. Things like this are seriously easy and can save you a lot of money over a commercial shop doing it. I've seen labor charges of like $40 to put in a $20 filter. Whoa! Why pay someone $40 for like 3 minutes of your time. You don't even get your hands dirty, there's no crawling on the ground, etc. You simply CAN'T "botch" this job, so don't worry!

easy to replace
So easy to replace. Took me longer to find and watch a video then to replace the filter.

Not the same as original equipment, but probably works
A previous reviewer wrote: "This is an ok filter, doesn’t look anything like the one I just pull out. The sturdiness is questionable. It fits ok but a little loose. My guess is that will not last as long as the previous one. Not sure why they are so different if both are “Genuine Subaru”. I’ll keep looking for another one for the next time to change. I hope it last some."This is exactly my experience.I got this to replace the cabin filter in my '22 Impreza 5-door base model. The replacement part seems appreciably less sturdy than the filter I pulled out. two of the sides are rigid and two are flexible -- but the rigid sides are the /opposite/ sides on the replacement versus the original. If I correctly understand how cabin air filters work, the differences shouldn't matter - but it's /not/ the same as the original. If you want to get a part that will look the same as the thing you're pulling out, don't get this product. If you just want something that works, seems like it would be compatible with the listed part.
