I use this for working out/lifting weights
I have another, smaller and less structured brace I use for day-to-day.This one is more "heavy-duty" and is much more adjustable. It's easy to really tighten down both straps to isolate my thumb joint.I use this one for working out/lifting weights. The other one, the lighter weight one, doesn't provide enough isolation, but this one does. I can do almost all the lifts I want to use - there are only a couple that are still too painful, like hammer curls.I really like this one - having two adjustable straps makes it very versatile. It seems well-made, and I feel it will last for a long time.

Works
Works well but took off one star because it does rub on wrist a bit and can be slightly uncomfortable.

Good thumb support
No instructions came with it, so it was a little difficult to figure out which straps went where. It does give support for the whole thumb which is what I wanted. I have been wearing it only at night, but it has already helped with the daily pain I was experiencing.

3 overall and 5 stars for my purpose
I give it 5 stars for doing that for which I purchased it. I give it 3 stars for overall. I know it doesn't make sense. The 3 are for what it says it can do. I may not be as sensitive but I didn't feel any difference between the copper one and the non copper (I purchased one of each). It didn't seem as though I received any extra benefit with the copper. Additionally the copper's velcro was not as substantial as the non copper and has come loose multiple times. The non copper hasn't. When you compare them side by side there is a huge difference in the type velcro used. The copper was reasonably comfortable to wear, although I pulled it down a bit to make it better. The non copper was more comfortable. They look the same until you really look at them, then you see slight differences. Perhaps it's the cutting of the material, or the sewing together but there is a subtle difference which made for a difference in my comfort. That said perhaps someone else would be more sensitive to the copper or not notice any difference in the fit. My primary reason (5 stars) for purchasing them was to keep my thumb from moving in a certain direction to reduce my pain from RA. Mission accomplished quite well in both copper and non copper. The other features (copper) I noticed nothing. Thanks, RM

Puts compression behind the thumb. Right where I want it.
I have a bone graph at the tip of my radius ulna. The tip of my forearm bone right behind the hand where my thumb is. It sucks beyond anything I could describe and it bothers me all day everyday with no chance of ever making it better. Wrist braces like this are my only chance at getting any sort of brief reprieve from my suffering. This one works nicely. The stiff part is nicely contoured and the strap for the thumb stabilizer is thick and hardy. I find it harder and harder to go even a day without a wrist brace with thumb stabilizer and I'm only in my 30s. I'm so screwed.

It really works.
I was in bad pain. Could not use my wrist or thumb. After wearing it for around 10 weeks daily. My condition completely healed. I highly recommend this if you are he having wrist pain, or trigger thumb.
