Easy to use, but interference issues bring its quality down.
Update (18/12/2019): After my initial product review below, Anker product support got in touch. As always they were brilliant in understanding my concerns and replaced the unit for me. I've been using it for now at least 10 days and can confirm the issues mentioned below are no longer present. I've updated the rating because of the brilliant product support they provide. The sound quality is very good, and the interference issues are no longer present.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I've now had this item for at least a month and have put it through its paces.Price: Good value for money overall. Being an Anker product, you cannot fault on overall build quality and product finish. I am an Anker fan and will buy their items without hesitation and always have excellent response from their warranty department, I've not contacted product support for the issues mentioned below, yet.Setting Up: easy to set up, worked straight out of the box and no issues connecting using iOS or Android devices. Connects to the phone almost instantaneously. No issues there.Sound Quality: This is a big let down. Although the sound quality is good, and unlike other FM transmitters, the sound doesn't disintegrate at higher volumes, there is a static background crackle that is always there. Not so audible at lower volumes, but more pronounced at medium to higher volume levels, and can get annoying during prolonged journeys.Major Issue: the transmitter interferes with normal radio operation. If you switch to a different radio station, it creates patchy reception. the issue gets worse if you are using the charging port to charge the phone. the crackle disappears and reception gets clear as soon as you switch the unit off (by holding the middle button down). The charging port still works but of course you can just seamlessly switch between normal radio channel and phone channel.Overall: if you don't mind these niggling issues (which can become annoying), then its an overall decent product. I am only writing this review because i got annoyed with it, and perhaps i expect high standards from Anker products. I don't have any intention to stop using it, i might contact product support to check if its just my unit, but other comments suggest its a known recurring issue with this transmitter.

Reliable product.
Very simple to use and reliable product.Hasn’t failed once in last 6 months of use... seamless Bluetooth connection, although sometimes have to reconnect in the car, but there’s no sound distortion or disturbance during playback... much better than the Rodimi xiaomi thing that i used before...Also fast charge feature is very good..For those wondering about the 3.5 mm jack on this device, it works well, but the sound is definitely better over Bluetooth than the Aux connection... or maybe its my aux cable...Happy with the product ...

Great Solution For Vehicles With No Bluetooth Connections
So this product is very easy to setup and use. It is ready straight out the box, just plug it into your 12v port and then pair with your phone/tablet once you have done that just tune your car radio to same frequency yo match the transmitter. Now you are good to go. You can skip tracks forward or go back via the buttons also the button with the phone symbol will pause/play the music.I tested it out for a few days works very well, as soon as I start my car it pairs up with my phone without me having to do anything.I read a lot of people experiencing weird sounds when they accelerate which I have not come across at all. Only thing I did notice it does cause interference to other radio stations when plugged in not in use. That’s the only I found so far. It does also have a aux input which I have not used but the option is there for those who need it.If your car does not have Bluetooth for audio connection then this is a great solution without being a eyesore.Build quality is great as always with Anker products. My vehicle is a 2011 Audi S4

Worth the money but are some issues.
Everything on it is in good working condition. If you put something on charge or take it off ( 50%) of the time theres an interference to the point the bluetooth has to reconnect. The microphone call quality is near perfect but still suffers due to the interference. Theres also a mild crackle / static noise sometimes. I have an audi a6 with the standard mmi system so for me when its plugged in it will interfere with your usual radio stations which is quickly resolved by simply unplugging it. But once you've connected your device it's a walk in the park from there on, which was as easy as. There are more than likely ways to resolve the issues I have with it but arent that bad for me to try. All round for what I paid taken into account it was more than a good buy.

VEry Very impressed
i owned a belkin FM transmitter for over a year , with a stereo jack input and extra USB charging port, it really struggled to both override other FM signals that would share the same or nearby frequency and the USB port was poor in power delivery. This ROAV unit changed all that. Signal at 87.5 is super strong as advertised with no interference ( i drive weekly from NE london to Southamtpon), the power socket charges my 6s plus in lighting time as a 2amp plug would. The bluetooth interface means i can play music or my audible book via the speakers and skip back or forward using the controls on the device instead of my phone. I can simultaneously connect my phone to the Cars own phone prepped bluetooth as the mic on the car is still better than the ROAV mic quality , but thatis not to say it isnt. Overall, the price to value ratio is phenomanal, cannot believe this cost £14 , half that of the belkin and ten times better. If you dont have AUX input and want to audio from your phone, then look no further and buy this now.VEry happy with this purchase.
