I have very small ear canals so, buds are not an option.These 'ear pads' (of sorts) are much more comfortable.Pros:- When I first put on the headphones, I played music. For music, I think they are awesome! (though I am not a connoisseur of music tone quality). But I think they are great, and am super impressed with the full-bodied sound.- The comfort is certainly there, though after a while, like all headphones, they get a little annoying. But, I'd wear these before buds...any day.- And of course, the price.Cons:- Phone calls are not as 'wonderful' or full-bodied. People on the other end often ask me to repeat myself. Voices sound a bit distant, on both ends of the conversation.- Several times music or phone conversations have cut in and out, as though there were a loose wire I should wiggle. Maybe there is? Internally?- While playing music, there is a beep that chimes in every now and again. The first time I wore them I assumed the battery must be getting low. But even when fully charged, the beep chimes in. Sometimes it chimes every few minutes, other times, every few seconds (as though the battery was screaming at you...please charge me! NOW!). Yet, the battery is full.--> Overall, because of what I mentioned above, I would have given the headphones 3.5 stars. But, as there isn't such a rating, I went higher, as they meet my needs and are pretty easy to work with overall.I am concerned about that loose wire issue, which may be causing some of these problems. Hopefully the manufacturer will read this and address my concerns.Thank you.

Edit...I love this style of headphone. They're pleasant to wear, unlike earbuds. Having a phone conversation with earbuds is horrid. Stick your fingers in your ears and speak. My only negative complaint is they are not durable. Every pair have disjointed where the earhooks and band connect. If they reinforce that joint they'll be quite solid. Other than that my original review remains true...Today is Sunday 12-2. I received my headset yesterday. First of all I like the hard case with which they come. A secure place to put them in case I travel with them unused. Highly unlikely though. I've used them quite a bit in a seemingly short amount of time and I must say I'm quite happy with them. I ordered them because they are over the ear and they are also Bluetooth 4.2. I've left my phone in the living room and walked into the dining room and kitchen into the master bedroom and even on to the balcony while my phone was in the living room. All with no distortion. For my head, I'm a woman, they're quite comfy and I've worn them 6-8+hrs straight. Call clarity is clear. Both ways. If not that's a deal breaker. My husband once did say he had trouble hearing me but a quick adjustment of the volume fixed that. Overall I'm quite pleased. I've watch numerous videos and am pleased to say I haven't experienced any lag. At all. They sound great when listening to music. I now have clear, hands-free calling. Plus, they haven't died yet. Came charged and all that I've used them hasn't put a dent in the battery life. Another plus is the battery charge indicator next to the Bluetooth symbol on my phone. That may or may not be the case for everyone. I still haven't figured out how to integrate Google Assistant yet. I tap the "phone" button but nothing. I'll get it figured out. The only downside was seeing the array of colors on the box. Especially red. It would have matched nicely with the folio case in which my phone resides. *Sighs* Oh well, I guess you can't have it all. Hope this review helps you make your decision...** Edit **I have figured out how to make a voice call.If you quickly press the track forward button twice that will allow you to use the voice dial feature. Awesomesauce!!

Pro:They are pretty nice. Confomfortable to wear, and sound quality is decent. And I like the fact that they came with a hardshell carrier. That was the deciding factor.Con: HOWEVER, they make a low quick beep between songs, which is quite annoying when listening to an audiobook. But only bought for listening to when out on short errands so I can deal, but if i had purchased these for all day use , like listening to regular songs that are 2-3 minutes each, they immediately would have been returned, because I could not deal with that for 8 hours or more, so I would recommend this go away during the next run or update.

These headphones are an answer to my prayers! I hate ear buds that go inside your ear; their super uncomfortable. But these headphones feel amazing! They fit perfectly over my ear and sound fantastic! I run half marathons and they feel snug and comfortable even after 13 miles, plus they are safe because they don't block out noise. If you're a runner looking for the perfect headphones, these are it! The case is a nice bonus too!!!

I bought these to wear when cycling with my safety helmet in place. Over the head phones cannot be accommodated with a helmet. I had tried some Samsung buds but found them finicky, tending to fall out, unreliable charging of the left bud, and virtually no bass. These are supremely light and comfortable. There is full frequency sound. The Bluetooth control is easy to use and works reliably. They have a sensitive microphone for phone calls and similar. They come in a strong and attractive storage case and have great battery life. I couldn't wish for better.

If you are looking for noise cancellation; these are not the ones. I wasn't...so I am quite satisfied as the sound is very reasonable and good for what the headphones are; you can easily move around and they don't fall off; they don't hurt your ears; and you can hear things around you (not too loudly) like traffic which is a good thing if a car comes close when you are running or walking. All in all, I feel it was a good deal and am very happy.

Don't go for these headsets, they are so cheaply built, seems like some china built with recycled plastic materials. Don't waste money in this. Rather get some good headsets for the same price.
