Thoroughly In-depth Yet Readable
I am new to Six Sigma, never formally using it, but recently took a condensed 2 day Green Belt class. I expected this book to be too technical for a non-engineer like myself but am pleasantly surprised. Although I admit that I am not quite done (almost though), I understand the concepts and overall structure. In fact, I read a book on DMAIC and found this book infinitely more read-able and am able to better digest and understand the concepts.

Good
This is a good synthesis of what you need to apply DFSS. Some tools require a little bit more explanation, but in general shows the milestones for DFSS application.

Best DFSS Book I have ever read
this book was well written (even if sometimes it was fairly technical) and had a nice easy algorithm layed out that was easy to follow. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to learn about Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)

Great Book!
This book is an excellent one source stop for DFSS tools. If you want a book that illustrates many of the analytical tools that can be used for DFSS and examples of how to use them, this is the book for you!

Terrible book, terribly written
Terribly written! Has grammar errors, is written to people who are familiar with the material already. Some of the subjects the authors talked about were a review for me and I understood them (no thanks to their writing or teaching skills), but for topics that were new to me, I was lost.

Useless
I feel compelled to write a warning for those out there that are looking for useful, immediately applicable ideas and examples on product and project development: DONT BUY THIS BOOK - it is utterly useless in providing any practicable idea.

DFSS Reference
When I did a design for six sigma course a number of years ago I bought this as one of the few reference books I could find on the subject. It oes into some detail on some of the core concepts and was a useful back up to the lecture notes. Like many text books of this type it could be a little dry in parts.
