Nice compact headtorch
This is a very compact head torch, great for putting in a pocket when you don't want it on your head. The lowest setting is very low, the medium is good for most jobs I use it for, and the maximum doesn't seem that much brighter, and doesn't really throw the light much further. I use mine while doing my horses, and it's great for around the yard where there isn't good lighting and for walking down the field in the dark to bring them in. Good for dog walking too.Every time you switch it on, it starts at the minimum setting, but I've got used to double pressing each time to turn it on. One press to turn off is much nicer than the cheap ones that you have to keep cycling through to get to the off setting.Battery life is ok, and as to be expected for the small size, you need to charge it fairly regularly. I saw a comment about the connector, but on mine it is a proper keyed micro-USB (so you can only put the cable in the correct way around).Overall very pleased, thanks Petzl!

Used on the 3 peak's challenge
Very lightweight, comfortable and easy to use. It's not a bright as some other models but that being said it's definitely bright enough to see where you're going on a hike. Battery life was good but not excellent obviously depending on what brightness setting you have it.

Great compact headtorch to have in coat pocket - awkward charging socket
I have a loads of Petzl headtorches, but this one has been really useful, its very compact, and has a good bright beam, and adjustable strap makes it very adaptable, so I use it on head or wrist, battery life is good, lasting about a week of 20 mins a day walks, and the indicator light warns when battery is low so you can recharge.Only issue which I've knocked a star off for is the charging port is not an official micro-USB socket, but a non-standard micro-A square socket, so doesn't have the angled edges of a proper micro-USB socket to make it easy to see which way to plug cable in. It would be very easy to plug cable in upside down and damage the charging socket. I assume this is to save a few pence in licence/royalties for the official micro USB socket, but would be much better if this had a proper micro-USB or even better USB-C charging socket !

Fantastic piece of kit
Bought this for camping. Really lightweight but surprisingly powerful. The battery seems great, and also the red light function.Rechargeable so really fantastic

Very light, minimalist, sub optimal, but good.
I liked the minute size and weight. It is tiny. I like the usb charging. The light is comparable to other small units, but not as good as my black diamond model. The small size of the unit means you actually direct light down your face towards the floor which is a bit disconcerting. Fine on a climbing helmet as this pushes it forwards. Overall, will be using a backup or as the one and only for fastpack day trips and running where a head torch is a safety backup. Has a red mode also for stealh and map reading.

Terribly dim! Waste of money
Very disappointed, having owned numerous petzl head lights I had high expectations. This is utter rubbish. Very dim, cheaply made and worth about £9.99. Avoid

Very lightweight and bright
Husband loves it for running, so much lighter than anything else he’s used before
