The first scale arrived and would not weigh anything or send the data to a connected phone.The replacement item would weigh items but the weight would drift plus/minus 0.2lb. The scale would connect to an Android phone and send the correct weight to the phone as displayed on the scale. However, you could not record the length of the fish as described or do anything else with the data like send it to email etc. The instructions indicated that a second app Netfish could be installed on your phone but it still did not allow you to add length or a photo or perform any other option described in the manual and gave an error message that said the function is not yet available. Later on the Netfish app after closing was reported by the phone to still be consuming battery power and apparently running something in the background.

Opened it and downloaded the app, everything connected and tests were accurate using dumbells and what not laying around the house (certainly not calibrated equipment, but it worked in a pinch). Looking forward to using as a recorder for catches, both for size etc, and for location bait and weather conditions. The ruler is a nice addition, easier than carrying my bump stick everywhere to record catches for online tournaments. So far everything I hoped for... I dont see any potential issues, but will update of anything goes array.

I use this to weigh fish I catch. I like that I can register the weights instantly on the app, although I’ve only tried it once, at home, just to test it. I dislike the weak lip grippers; very hard to use them so I don’t bother. Quite a few times I got frustrated because the scale would not power on, even after changing to new batteries. It appears that the batteries do not fit snugly in their compartments so it doesn’t turn on when needed! Took me a while to figure this out; Most unreliable scale I’ve ever owned.

Right out of the box it will not work you call them and there’s nothing they can do not ok with it

Went to weigh a fish...showed 29 lbs. (fish was 4-5) went home and tried it out, scaly was stuck on 29. Updated the ap and it set to zero. Stuck on zero. Will not weigh. Piece of crap!

works as expected, easy to read, strong clip, had to 0 it out 2-3 time. They could have supplied 2 AAA battery for the price. It will work for the boat to keep us honest.

Does not work

I ordered and received one that was dead out of the box. I had to return for a new one. The second one seems to work fine.They were quick to replace.
