Bought another one that fell through the ladder and did not stay. This one is just long enough so that it stays put very happy with this purchase.

Ordered this for the ladder rack on my motor home. The metal is not very thick but it did not bend with the weight of the lawn chairs. It being metal, will scrape the paint off of your metal ladder and I recommend using electrical tape to wrap where the metal meets. You need to bungee cord or strap to keep it on as it fits very loose. It does the job fine and hopefully where the paint scraped off won’t rust. This will hold four normal size lawn chairs. For the price, a very good product.

I read the complaints that these could bend under a heavy load in time so I ordered enough to double them up. I taped the doubled up ones together with overlapping spiral wound electrical tape so they now acted as a single holder. To further allow me to sleep at night, I hooked a strap up going from the center of the front cross piece to the center of the ladder rung the unit was hanging on (or a rung above it). They have worked great with this modification. They have held their shape perfectly under continuous 50+ pound loads. Even having to buy twice the number (and two rolls of electrical tape plus straps) they still cost much less than other carrier options I looked at and they are easy to put on and take off.

I read the reviews about people receiving their product with missing parts and hoped that wouldn't be me, however, such was not the case. I was shorted one of the tension knobs of which there should be 4 but I received only 3. I reached out to Camco but so far all I get are crickets. It's really a shame that the quality control of products these days are so bad. Buyer beware......

We travel in a Truck Camper and space is a commodity. We ordered this to carry our camping chairs and have found it to so useful while camping. I hang my towel here after a shower to dry and my wife uses it to hang her laundry. We have used it to hang an outdoor light so we can grill outside...... It is light weight, yet sturdy. Easy storage.....will definitely recommend this to our fellow RVers.

Used on every trip...solid...chairs and/or a small step ladder usually carried...convenient too. I use a couple of bungee cords to secure the items to the carrier (and RV ladder), very safe and hassle free.

I bought this chair rack for holding my portable RV tank on the ladder. Seems to do the job nicely.
