Q: Can this be framed with a standard frame? Or custom framed?

I have not finished this yet, but I think you will be able to use a standard frame, possibly needing a mat; I will not be sure until I complete it

Q: What size frame would you need?

My fabric as a whole was 16” L by 12” W. The design itself was only 11 1/2” L by 8” W. So depending on how much fabric you would want showing around your piece in the frame would give you your frame size.
