Great product, quick shipping. Works great.
I bought the three-way to hide our cable box, DVD and Audio. First off, the product arrived quickly and everything was in the package. They also included well written documentation. Extra adhesive pads were included as well. Here are a few suggestions that I tried after reading other reviews. Once you have found the original position of the IR receiver on the front panel of the media device, clean it with a bit of glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Not a lot, just enough to clean the area where you will be placing the transmitter. Use a couple of pieces of transparent tape to secure the wire on the front and top of the device. (hint: fold over a tab so it is easier to get off later).Transmitter placement is a tough one. If your not sure where the original IR receiver is on your media device, find a friend and do a bit of trial an error before removing the adhesive backing. You can slide the transmitter over the face of your media device until it works. Keep trying, when it starts working, take flashlight and shine it through the panel. You should see a small square with a dot in the middle, mine were about 2mm square. Don't forget to clean the panel before removing the adhesive backing.

Does not work reliably
Installed per instructions, which are weak. Used to control Cox Cisco DVR. Had to put all 3 leads on the DVR to get it to work. The leads don't stay on. Even when they do the performance is spotty. Don't waste your time.

it takes some work and compromise, but it works with a blaster for Uverse
i bought it to control a Motorola vip 1225 ATT uverse box and an onkyo receiver and tried everything possible to have the emitters work on the ATT box. I initiated a return and they sent out a blaster which is currently working fine. the downside is i have to stack the ATT box on top of the receiver to have it control both since the blaster takes the only output. This isn't a knock on the equipment but if the door is open the Uverse box doesn't respond (i guess it is confused by 2 signals). If you have an ATT uverse box, get a kit with a blaster and Motorola needs to make less sensitive boxes.

Works great, just one complaint.
The item was easy to set up and worked immediately. It's a great way to solve the problem of an out of site receiver/cable box.I was concerned when after a few weeks it stopped working however when I investigated it was simply that the glue on the receiver nodes came off. Once I rede cured all was ok. This happened to all 3 of my devices. The glue could be a little stronger.

FINALLY a repeater that works with U-verse
I have been struggling to find a product that works with my U-verse STB for 2 years. I have been using a very janky repeater that barely works. I used to have to press buttons 100 times to get the STB to change channels, super frustrating. It made using my DVR and surfing nearly impossible. FINALLY after all this time I can sit back and watch TV in my bedroom with a reliable repeater! The IRP allows me to press a button on my remote and the STB does what its supposed to......its a miracle :). Seems so simple, but after barely being able to use my bedroom TV it really nice to have a well priced reliable product that actually works! Thanks Infrared Resources!

Excellent product, but instructions lacking...
We have a Philips 50" HDTV on top of a cabinet, and stored our Sony DVD/VHS player and Time Warner Cable HDTV cable box within the cabinet. We bought this so that we could operate the DVD/VHS player and cable box with the cabinet closed (and still have the capability of adding another device in the future such as a Blu Ray player). The product is great and the cords are long enough so that you can be flexible with the setup. However, the instructions were really bare-bones and somewhat vague, and we had to do about 20-30 minutes of experimentation to get it to work properly. We finally figured out that the receiver had to be placed behind the TV screen, otherwise the TV signal interfered with its function (i.e., it would only work when the TV was off). I had to do a little on-line searching to figure this out. In any case, it works amazing now, and I would definitely recommend it.

Great device
These IR transmitters work great for my system and work with my Time Warner DVR's as well as my Vizio TV's and DVD players. I had my receivers located such as the remotes didn't hit the IR sensors so I would have hold up the remote above my head and shake it as I pressed the buttons. This got old fast. So I called Infra Red Resources LLC. and they recommend these IR repeaters to go with my Time Warner DVR's. They work great and their is no lag time between transmitting from the remote and the receiver activation that I can tell.

Out of sight
I love the fact that I can hide all my ugly DVRs, DVD players, etc. in a cabinet. I have a TV that doesn't receive the signal to turn it on/off, so I was hoping this would help, and I'd be able to use a remote, but it didn't work. I'm still happy with this as it works on all my other devices. It does work with my Directv DVR.
