VERY SATISFIED, Rou Gui or Yang Cinnamon, strong medicine and also tasty!
I'm REALLY happy with this Rou Gui or Yang Cinnamon. It comes in simple packaging which is fine w/me. The inner package is a zip lock-type resealable clear plastic bag with their company sticker on it. My TCM / traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner / acupuncturist recommended that I get this in order to help strengthen my kidney yang. (This Rou Gui is the OUTER bark of cinnamon which has unique medicinal properties. The spice that most people use for cooking is the inner cinnamon bark. That inner bark is known as Gui Zhi or wind cinnamon, good for clearing "wind" in TCM.) I'm just a lowly TCM fan going to my practitioner for herbal recommendations & acupuncture, so I hope I wrote all that properly. If someone is a TCM practitioner please feel free to comment and correct me. This is moderately strong natural medicine, so this 1lb package will last me a while. Anyway, I make a very strong tea/medicine from this by bringing to boil w/filtered water & then simmering for at least 20min then I store the strong tea/medicine in mason jars in my fridge and use in small doses each day. (I sometimes throw out the used bark but also I have kept it to leave in an open bowl as a bit of aroma therapy and I sniff it sometimes. Since I've already used it for tea it doesn't scent the whole room which is OK.) I also make tea from astragalus bark and store that w/mason jars in fridge. Then I make a big thermos full to drink throughout the day, with roughly 2/3 hot water, some honey, and maybe the hot herbal part is 1/5 this rou gui tea and 4/5 the astragalus tea. Also I add a big splash of this rou gui tea to my black tea I drink sometimes, since otherwise black tea can be rough on my intestines the next day. Adding this rou gui tea to my black tea seems to keep me AOK the next day. My husband adds a splash of the rou gui tea to his tea just for the taste. Since he tends towards being chilly and it's a small amount he takes per day, we figure it's OK. Oh and I also take a prepared herbal supplement 2x's daily prescribed by my acupuncturist so this all-day watered down tea I drink is in addition to that.

Quality does not match price and no return is allowed
We purchase a similar item from other Amazon seller with the same price; however, the quality of this item is not good. We found we were not allowed to return it when we tried to do so.

I don’t think this is Ceylon not good for medical use
If they can’t tell you it’s Ceylon than it is dangerous to use as medicine.
