Portability and power packaged together.The clip-on length adjusters are quite sturdy, and don't flex too much. This is a good thing.The cable is professional thickness, and quite long. None of that cheap feeling with these, very good cable overall.Downside is there is no clip or handy thing to let the Peanuts hang from. That would have been a nice touch to have because I use them every other day.Easy to travel with because they're very small in every dimension.There is no blade-adjustment length, just the plastic clip on pieces. I use this about 2-4 times a week for my beard (using a mix of the #3, #2, and #1 to fade). Then I line up the hair edges without any plastic clip ons.-->Without the plastic clip ons, the Peanut gets *a little bit closer* than a 5-o'clock shadow length. <-- close for this style of electric clippers, but not as close as an electric razor, and Not quite as close as the Andis T-Outliner. Still pretty good. Edgework for hairlines and around ears is good, but not close enough to line up the edge of a beard – you'll still need to shave the beard edge with these.They can DEFINITELY power through any thickness of beard. Don't let the size fool you.To be honest, the product is great, feels great in hand, and feels very durable. For my purposes (mostly beard) they're great. The size makes them 100% portable. If i had more money I'd buy these again AND a set of clippers with adjustable blades to more easily fade the side of my hair.
