Surprisingly amazing
I die mohair for artist to use on their dolls and it sells for a lot because of what we have to go through to prepare it so I'm very cautious about what I use. For 60 years I've been using Rit and even started using the liquid and again very happy but it's getting too expensive especially for specific colors and I needed this royal blue so I thought I'd try the Tulip and I could not believe how gorgeous it was and how fast. In all things considered I cannot use salt because it ruins the hair so to hard for me to tell anybody else h how it will work for them and like I said it may just be this color now the downside and there's always a downside with Rit liquid after I'm done dying the hair I can pour it into a container and pretty much holds its color but this stuff when I got done using it it was very murky and ugly and it could not be reused but All in all love it just ordered some more

Product is great, Delivery packaging was reckless
Product is great, seller is good. Packaging handled by Amazon was reckless.I didn't want to leave the seller a poor review but Amazon does not have a way to report this issue. I was shipped two items together.I received a package today with two items I ordered in it one of the items was a packet of dye they put that in the same package as a square boxed item. The dye packet must have been damaged as there were particles of the dye inside the plastic Amazon package that was holding both items and on the box. Unknowingly, I came home from work and set the package in my bed and opened it. There was dye particles everywhere, dye on my hands, dye on the other package. It's more of an issue of not packaging it correctly and putting it in the same package as a box with staples on it that likely caused the damage. Now my hands, sink, and anything I touched in between are all died blue... The irony of this all is... Dye is a nice rich color, works great, make sure you use gloves 🙃

Gorgeous color, put in the work, check Cotton!
The color came out great for this dye. I followed the directions on the back to a T (excpet for the occasional stirring for 45 minutes, I did it for 30) and it came out wonderfully!I actually did the clothes one at a time, and then kept adding a bit of hot water each time to "activate" the dye for another piece. You may notice that one skirt came out darker than the other, and the jacket came out dirty white pink (barely pink at all) This just has to do with the material. All of these pieces are 100% cotton, except maybe the jacket. I actually dyed this jacket first, as it was a dirty pink white from before (Rit dye fail) and I really wanted to save it. But I've realized that the jacket may not be 100% cotton and could be blended. As for the skirts, I did the flared skirt second, and the jean skirt last. One was lighter than the other, so it probably soaked in more color quickly. I'm so happy because even though the jean skirt was originally a coral pink (failed RIT Dye experiment lol) it came out a perfect light pink color. I recommend this!

Works for Rayon Fabric that has bleached stains
Had a cardigan I bought from Coofandy that was ruined because of accidental bleach stains. This product absolutely works on bleach stains. You just have to do it multiple times and give it lots of time to absorb the dye.Unfortunately I couldnt use the the stove to reheat the mixture of dye, salt, and water and had to rely on just hot sink water mixtures but heres what you should do if you can reheat it on the stove:------1. USE THE ENTIRE DYE PACKET when mixing the Salt, Dye, and Hot Water2. Leave the thing you're dyeing in the hot steaming water dye mixture (Not Boiling) for several hours until the water is cooled naturally. (I left it for a whole day in the the mix, repeating this step across 3 to 4 days.)3. Rinse fabric as best you can and dry. If the bleach stain is still visibly there, repeat step two. If the dye mixture is becoming clearer it means the fabric absorbed most of the dye, and that the mixture has more salt water in it than it does dye. If that is the case, put more of the dye packet, reheat, mix, and repeat step two.4. At some point the fabric should no longer have the bleach stains even after washing and drying after you've repeated these steps a few times.------Personally I used steaming hot water for the mix, but you should take care to use temperates that your clothes can tolerate and nothing higher.I should also mention that I did not bleach my cardigan first to have an even dye because I was too scared to ruin it even more. This wasn't an issue in the end because you could hardly tell that the cardigan was bleached from the results. The only thing that was a bit unexpected was that the laundry instruction tag that was attached to the cardigan was also dyed completely black but I don't really mind since you cant really see it since its from the inside.I do not know if any of the other dye colors of this brand will work as I only used black.

easy to use and fabulous color!!
Beautiful color and followed simple directions. Best dye ever used. I was careful washing it the first time thinking it would lose a lot of dye. It didn't! The color is holding strong and is just lovely. Highly recommend their dyes.

Very bright
While I was dying my white shirt I was super happy with the dark, rich, eggplantey colour it looked like it was becoming. However after it was dry it was more of a bright neon-ey purple. It's not the vibe as the kids say.

Not impressed
After using tulip dye on a number of items I was quite impressed until I rinsed and washed the items. The colour did not stay and faded quite a lot. I have used Rit liquid dye and the difference is astronomical. I will go back to using Rit dyes and I do NOT recommend this product
