These stencils are real, hard plastic. I previously bought a set from a discount store, when I received them they were flimsy. I wanted these as an occasional treat for practicing spelling lessons. I bought the black scratch rainbow paper and wanted alphabet stencils. These will be perfect! There are 4 different sizes, one I consider super big and one I consider super small for what I need them for. To sum it up, I'd buy them again. I'm very happy with them.

I like the sizes and ease of using the stencils. It's nice that they're made of solid material and different colors.

Loved having multiple sizes. Stencils were sturdy and of good quality.

They work fine with a sharpened pencil and best with a deeper reaching fine tip pen and a steady hand. I recommend inspecting them before use and ensure that all of the stencils are free of plastic overrun and open for use.

I expected better quality for the top dollar they charge. The two smaller stencils are not usable at all.
