Q: Has anyone recently purchased this product? Would appreciate a recent review (to see if changes have really been made).

The product in general is a really good set. The problem is in packaging and delivery, the compartment for crayons was jammed and trying to open it resulted in a large number of crayons breaking. This can be easily rectified by using a thicker separators material to keep the crayons from getting jammed.

Q: Could someone please verify if '3-pack' is correct? Does this mean 3 wooden art sets? or is it referring to the 3 types of art mediums in the set?

I believed it was a pack of three sets, and ordered it for my three nieces. When a single set arrived in the box I contacted Amazon via chat. The representative at first wanted to exchange it, because he didn't understand the problem. It took awhile but he finally understood what I was telling him, then said it was an error with the site and wanted to just refund my money and let me keep the set. I explained that I'd already told the girls about their gift art sets, and that this still left me two sets short. I told him I did not accept the refund offer, that I had placed my order in good faith,that their system had accepted the order as a 3 pack and took my money, and I would settle for nothing less than what I paid for. Escalated to a supervisor, who also claimed all they could do was refund. Finally after 15 minutes of my refusing to accept their offer I was told to order two more sets and give them the order number and the price would be zeroed out. I did, it was, and the other two sets arrive tomorrow.

Q: I'm confused, this description says made in usa but the package clearly says otherwise!?

My box says Thailand and based upon that I would think it was made in Thailand.

Q: Is this art set vegan?

They mean are the art supplies themselves vegan. Many art supplies are made with parts of animals bodies unfortunetly. There are more and more vegan versions of great art supplies coming out, but I have no idea about this set.

very poor quality of box it's not made of wood it's a cardboard . by mistake if the water fall on it entire box will be damaged .
