Largest acrylic dome that I could find, and I love the stand!
It's perfect to make an enchanted rose from beauty and the beast! I was able to open the hollow stand and hide the small box with the batteries from the lights that I've bought. It will work out great for what I need since it will be for a one year old. Didn't want a glass dome that she would possibly break. Also this is the largest size for acrylic dome that I could find and it looks just like the picture! I love it!

I broke a glass dome on a Frozen display of my Granddaughter's. Replaced it with this dome, the fit was perfect and it is unbreakable.

It's definitely acrylic and not glass.
The acrylic is not all that translucent. It's a lot more cloudy than glass. It's a good shape but just not as clear as I needed it to be.
