Fundamentals of Plant Physiology 1st Edition

I purchased this for a plant physiology course. This is one of the best text books I have read. It is very easy to understand. There are keywords defined on the side of every page. There are excellent diagrams/pictures/graphs on almost every page to help make sense of the information presented. The index is incredible and helps find even briefly mentioned, but important topics in the book. I have actually read this entire textbook cover to cover and continue to pull it out for reference during research and other upper division BIO courses. BUY THIS BOOK AND KEEP IT if you have any interest in studying plants.

This was a cheaper alternative to my universities rentals. The textbook I rented did come used (as expected) with water damage on the front cover and half of the pages. I don't mind as I will only be using it for a semester!

I ordered this because I needed it for a class. While I have skimmed it and appreciated the easy to understand text and figures I do think my professor over estimated how much we would use it.

this is a great book, I picked this to teach plant physiology. But if you are an instructor and use this book to teach, you need to do a lot of extra work to make the ppt and exams. The book comes with online pictures (even in ppt format) but it doesn't have any text! it doesn't come with online book either. So you will need to "type" all the text you needed to make your class ppt. I found that a bit annoying.
