i don't think i'd get terribly excited about a little desktop case typically, but this is gorgeous, very clean and assembling my server into this box went exceedingly well...my next build will be a lian-li case as well, i can't say enough about this

Pricey, but gorgeous. Cramped inside, and not enough ventilation.
I love this case, mostly because it is gorgeous. But first-time computer builders beware: this case is compact, and has poor ventilation. The fans it comes with are nice, but this case will never have good air flow unless you modify it yourself and add ventilation. I also STRONGLY suggest you measure every single dimension for every part you are going to place into this case. My graphics card did not fit, even though I measured the length precisely. It actually wouldn't fit because it was too TALL, which was very surprising as the graphics card height is not usually a concern. The sliding motherboard tray is a nice touch, but not at all necessary or functional. Once all of those wires are in, there is no way you're sliding that tray out anyway. The extra 1/4" of space would have allowed my card to fit.

Cramped and limiting case of mediocre quality.
Bottom line first:Not well designed, cramped, mediocre quality, various shortfalls.Go for a regular ATX tower instead, if possible, or a higher quality and better designed case.=================================I bought this for a small desktop PC I built for my in-laws. I went for a small form-factor so it could sit on the desk and accumulate less dust. The overall quality and finish is mediocre. For example, each side panel is held in place by six small black screws. After removing and replacing these just twice, the paint on the screws is already scratched, spoiling the nice matte-black finish. I'm sure messing with the screws some more will ruin at least one of these fragile screws, and only one spare is supplied. If you intend to open and close the case often, choose a different case! This case isn't as small as it may seem - at 279mm x 262mm x 373mm (W,H,D) its volume is 2/3 of my "standard" ATX desktop computer. However, the space utilization is poor. Many key areas are cramped and some are simply inaccessible. To make matters worse, much of the case is welded together (including internal compartments) and can't be taken apart with basic tools. The front panel, for example, has a large sheet of metal which can't be removed. Mounting drives (right behind this panel) is okay with the special screws supplied which allow sliding the drive in, but my case arrived without these screws and they are nowhere to be had.The HDD bay is actually okay. You screw the supplied rubber grommets to a disk and it just slides in and sits firmly with good vibration cancelling. However, the HDD bay can contain only two 3.5" disks, and there is nowhere else to place disks in this case, so if you need more than two disks - forget about it! Also, you must use flat ('L' shaped) power and data connectors for the disks, because the built-in fan sits very close and there is no room for straight connectors. This fan should supply good cooling for the disks.Regarding ventilation, the design seems silly to me. The two 120mm front intake fans can only pull in air through the small perforated bottom section of the front panel, and another small perforated section below. Having such a small opening is surely detrimental! Besides these, the 80mm HDD bay fan and the power supply's fan, there are a few small openings, but nowhere to place additional fans. I was afraid the CPU would heat up so I used a good aftermarket CPU cooler ( Scythe Shuriken Rev.B SCSK-1100 - Processor cooler - ( Socket 478, Socket 754, Socket 940, Socket 775, Socket 939, Socket AM2, Socket AM2+, Socket 1366 ) - 100 mm ). There is enough space above the motherboard to mount a CPU cooler, but only up to 115mm in height.=================================Conclusion:This case is okay, but get a better one if possible, or just go for a normal ATX tower or mini-tower.=================================Final notes:* Up to 2 optical drives can be installed, you can choose whether they will face left or right. Not having them front-facing is unusual. The case is not wide enough to accommodate two back-to-back drives facing in opposite directions!* Mounting an additional HDD in a drive bay is difficult.* The motherboard is mounted on a bottom slide-out tray, which makes assembly, well, possible.* A full-sized PSU can be installed. It is top-mounted.

Very Satisfied
This is the third mini tower I purchased for my home lab and it is an excellent choice. Delivery was fast and packaged expertly.

It's Bigger on the Inside
Great case. Surprisingly lightweight, thanks to aluminum construction. It's compact, yet can fit 6 full size drives and four PCIE expansion slots. Comes pre-installed with three fans for plenty of cooling. I was very impressed with the design and build quality. Only potential gotcha: if your video card is too short, there may be a clearance issue between the aux power connection on top and the bottom of the drive chassis. I had to massage the frame a tiny bit to add adequate clearance.

Brilliant, elegant, design. Extremely high quality fit and finish
As an engineer, I find this case brilliant. As an admirer of industrial design, I find it beautiful. The front and side panels are thick, rigid, 2mm panels, with the sides removable. This material will remain opticslly flat and neve oilcan. The finish is fingerprint-repelling parallel-brushed anodized aluminum, which looks fantastic. The mobo attaches to a slide-out back tray that carries all the rear connectors with it. Together they combine to create a highly approachable platform for custom installation. The sides are attached with precision Phillips screws. Yes, you must take care not to damage them. If you're at all klutzy, or plan to re-enter the case frequently, just replace them with standard black thumbscrews. It'll look just fine.To a non engineer, the cooling may look problematic, since intake air seems limited to low and narrow ventilation grills low on the front and sides. That's part of the brilliant design. The total intake area is plenty for up to 90 CFM airflow. This case is designed to use a fanless power supply with flow-through cooling. Intake air passes over the mobo, then up through the PS to exit under positive pressure. The single disk drive fan moves 15 CFM, while the PS ducts the remainder. The front fans are tool-less slide-out modules for easy cleaning. With all the panels off, and a slide-out mobo, this case is a dream to build out. There is plenty of cable routing space, with careful attention to detail, such as plastic cutout edge protectors and thoughtfully-place cable clips. And the cubical shape and minimalist styling is great for top-of-work-surface office or home deployment. The side-mounted aux connectors and optical bays keep the front flat and pure, And you can mount the opticals on either left or right side to suit nearby equipment placement. The frame is assembled with high-quality machined, flush rivets, rather than spot welding. This makes it much sturdier than typical towers.
