In my opinion this is a beautiful, decent quality bed skirt. It covers the box spring as I wanted and the ruffles do lay nicely once they have been ironed, ON HIGH HEAT. As the description states, the drop (aka ruffles) are cotton. This means they need to be ironed on a high heat setting to release the wrinkles. I used Downy wrinkle release spray and a little bit of elbow grease & the skirt came out looking just like the photo. I believe the bad reviews are based on little know how and lack of care taken. Also, I’m not sure why people are upset by the fact that the part that lays over the box spring and in between the ruffles is not cotton. That part does not need to be and also that equals less ironing. My product arrived with no flaws. It did come wrinkled, of course, because it is cotton! Wrinkles are NOT a flaw but a fact of owning an all cotton item. I am also unsure of the review that stated it tore on the bed frame even over pool noodles? I believe that to be a flaw in the frame you own not the product. I cannot speak to those who received defects on their item, that is just an unfortunate fluke. I am 100% happy with my bed skirt and so happy to have bought it for the price i did.

I absolutely love this bed skirt, it's everything I expected! Item arrived promptly and with no complications. The bed skirt came in it's own clear plastic bag with a zipper and was neatly folded inside to prevent minimal wrinkles. I bought this item fully aware that if I wanted the look of the photo on the add at Amazon I had to do some ironing. If you bought this item thinking it was going to come out of the package looking like the photo you're a fool. I got the King size and it took me about an hour to iron the entire thing and that's with small breaks and me taking my time. I found that using a water bottle sprayer worked best and made it even faster. I would spray a section that was to be ironed and the water would help loose the wrinkles. The material is well made, with a couple spots where there were no ruffles but to this day I still can't tell where those spots where. As I ironed there were no rips, and for those who experienced rips while ironing, well you must have really ironed very hard. This is a project to do while you're not in a rush to do anything, I watched 2 half hour shows in my room with no problems. I used a stool as I ironed so I wouldn't get tired and used my bed as a table to set aside the ironed sections. I would and probably will by this item again in different colors and I would recommend this skirt to anybody that isn't scared of a little ironing! A+

I got this 5-Ruffle bedskirt to go along with the Taylor 5 Piece Bedding Set that I also purchased on Amazon.I think for what you get, this is honestly a bargain. I looked on other sets for similar items and was amazed at how high the prices were for a simple ruffled bedskirt (ie: Pottery Barn Teen's Ruffle Bedskirt is currently on "sale" for $109 for a full size and it only has 3 ruffles instead of 5) Yikes! I thought because of the price that I would end up getting what I paid for and there would be some major flaw with this bedskirt, but I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase and with the money I saved after comparing prices for similar ones online. I ordered the full size and it fit the bed perfectly. Seems like a lot of times, I order a bedskirt and end up having to do a little tucking here and a little tucking there in order to get it to lay the right, but I didn't have to fiddle with this one. I did put mine in the dryer on LOW setting with a hot, wet washcloth in order to get the wrinkles out. Anything ruffled tends to get wrinkled when it's packaged up (my bedding set was too) and that was the best solution I could come up with since I don't own a steamer and didn't want to deal with the time-consuming hassle of ironing it. I absolutely love it- just wish they offered it in other colors as well.

Absolutely beautiful

The top ruffle starts at the edge of the mattress which means it just barely fits on the daybed without any room for bumping it while changing the sheets. We had to adjust it quite a few times while making the bed. It looks like it will handle the adjustments well. Time will tell if we do.I wish it came with skirting on all 4 sides, or that I could choose for the missing side to be one of the long sides instead, but the skirting covers one short end and two long sides. There are slits in the corners with slight overlap and it works okay but doesn't separate fully to give the neatest possible look. It's lovely when the bed is all put together.I would recommend this and am happy with the look and the value.I paired it with white vertical ruffle curtains which were difficult to find (tiered horizontal layers like this are much more common) and it made a sophisticated but fun compliment without looking too matchy-matchy.

I read the reviews about the fabric being thin and lots of loose threads, but decided to order it anyways. I can sew and usually do custom pieces but after sewing my own ruffled curtains decided to find an affordable bed skirt to match for our king-sized bed. (The curtains were very time consuming and takes a lot of fabric) I originally found the PB one and it doesn't come in king size but I wouldn't pay that much if it did. This fabric is cotton so I do not suggest drying it and after reading the negative reviews on it I just misted it with a wrinkle release and tumble dried on low before putting it on the bed. Worked great! As far as the loose threads, there were a lot of them so I just snipped them before putting it on. Sure is ALOT easier than sewing my own any day! The fabric for ruffles has to be thinner so that they lay nicely so this didn't bother me. The only thing, I wished it came in other colors so I could get one for my daughters room. If I would've sewed my own the ruffles would have been a little tighter for more fluff but still not worth the time it would've taken me and the cost of fabric to make that happen. This is an amazing deal:)

Hangs nice and washes well

this looks like an anthropologie or urban outfitters knock off. fabric is thin but it works for the purpose. looks great in our room, and a very good deal for what you are getting. I am hoping I don't have to wash it as I can see potential for the ruffles not looking as good after a wash.

This bedskirt is beautiful !! I love it !!! Yes, the fabric is a bit flimsy and you can't tug on it while it's on the mattress but that's what makes it so pretty, it's light and airy and just perfect. It took me a good hour to iron it and it was kind of crunched when it came out of the dryer but it was soooooo worth it for the final result. This skirt is truly beautiful. Everyone who sees it remarks on how nice it looks. I'm happy I purchased it.

Love these bed skirts! So feminine and pretty. I made the extra effort and ironed these for my daughters' bedrooms and it was worth the effort. They are billowy and full.

This bedskirt is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as described by the manufacturer. It is very similar to the one sold at Pottery Barn Kids, but a fraction of the price. I am very pleased with the style and design and think it will be perfect for my daughter's "shabby chic" bedroom. I was also impressed with the super fast shipping to Canada. I received the bedskirt less than 48 hours after placing my order.
