40X Full Metal Illuminated Jewelers Loupe Magnifier with Folding Design, Pocket Magnifying Glass with LED Light (LED Currency Detecting/Jewelers Identifying Type)

I look for mint marks on coins, I can see them better than with other scopes. The light helps out terrific in seeing on circulated coins that can be very hard to make out the marks. I haven’t used the black light on it yet. The magnifier is in great,sturdy condition, meaning it doesn’t feel cheep. All in all I like this purchase and suggest doing so to others.

Lightweight, portable, easy to use for stated purpose. Appears to be GREAT value for dollars spent. Would recommend it!

I've owned a couple different plastic loops (60x) and this one is WAY better. It works well. The switch for the LED lights feels like it will actually last for a while. The plastic loops are so cheap, the LEDs flicker constantly even when new.I used it with my phone to get magnified shots of trichomes and it works well for that and pretty easy to hold while taking photos.I prefer 50x for my use, but this is close enough and is now my go-to loop for just about everything.

This is definitely a solid piece of equipment,very powerful and comes with a nice case that will keep it in good shape for years to come.I am very pleased with it and the price was right, I highly recommend this loupe.

This handy loupe with the 40X magnifier has been a much needed addition to my jewelry tools. The magnifier brings the small print to a size I can read and the LED/UV light brightens the hard to see print that has worn over time. As much as I will be using this device I am pleased with the durability of the metal construction.

There's a lot to like about this loupe. It comes in a hard plastic case about the same size and shape as an egg. It has two LED modes: two high-brightness (they are BRIGHT!), and one soft blue. It comes in a fold-up steel case, so the lens is protected when not in use. There's a small key for opening the battery compartment.However. It's described as "40x". It is not. Perhaps there was some lab test that calculated 40x, but in ordinary use, it is closer to 8x or10x. I compared it with my photographer's loupe, marked 8x, and this one has a slightly higher magnification. But nowhere near 40x.40x is too high for a loupe. At 40x, you're talking microscopes.I would give it a higher rating in the magnification were accurately described. It's solid and well-built. The carrying case is excellent. The bright LEDs can almost light up a room. I'd recommend it to photographers (for looking at negatives - which is why I bought it).

easy to carry, easy to use, lights are useful, but extremely short focal length really limits this. for the price, good value, if you are looking for fine details and not the big picture.

NICE! Crisp clear view. Big viewing field. Bright LED. Using for jewelry marks and coins. Includes case with a place to put the battery key. Awesome design on this loupe! This one is going to quickly become a favorite.
