Fantastic Haynes manual

Just great.

Lovely book for a obsessed child who wants to be a fireman not given yet as a Xmas present

Excellent read very informative and interesting a great addition to any fire fighters library.

I was so looking forward to reading this book and I wasn’t disappointed. With the experience, depth of knowledge and respect that both Duncan and Phil are held in not only within the national sector but internationally as well, the content will resonate with those in the service but equally as importantly those who aspire to a career or just want to know more about a unique and special service. I’ve had the privilege, pleasure and honour of working with and being friends with Duncan and Phil over many years and it’s of no surprise that the book is well researched, insightful and just a great read! If there was a fire “dream team” Duncan and Phil would be premiership leaders! Well done and thank you! PC

Dad was a firefighter all his life and loves a Haynes manual. Perfect gift.

Having been to a fire station open day and wanting to know more I was interested to read this book. It offers a lot, and in a really interesting and engaging way. The format is typical Haynes, packed with photographs and information about fire service organisation, procedures and equipment. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic effort by the two authors, who have produced a great manual, one which I'm sure a lot of fire fighters would find it handy. It should be compulsory reading for Local Authority members.
