Copper Wear Compression Ankle Sleeve, Medium

This is an amazing product. Why did not any doctor recommend me one of these earlier. I have been suffering from post traumatic arthritic foot since my accident a year back. I had injured my ankle very badly (crushed talus, broken tibia, fibula) and went through 3 surgeries to fix it. Doctors said that my ankle is too messed up and recommended ankle fusion. I did not want to take that decision and wanted to give my body a chance to fight as I am still young. Its been a long, painful, tough, and extremely enduring journey being an international student without any family here. I have transformed my lifestyle completely after this incident. All of it has helped a bit. The healing has been very slow but yes, there is progress I see. I came across similar product on one of sites I access daily. And came on amazon to find the better product and read reviews. I read some positive reviews from arthritic users and decided to order one. Its been a week now and wow, I could immediately feel the difference. I almost feel 20-30% less pain which is awesome. I have been feeling so much better now. I did some strength training on stationary bike in gym and was feeling alright. Ususally my ankle would feel very sore. I have been wearing this continuously even when I sleep. I will order one more of this later this month and have couple of them.

I have been wearing copper wear for awhile now and the days it would be in the wash and I didn't have it on, I could tell. I would have so much pain in my foot just standing so I had to get another so I always have one to wear. The only problem I have is that it digs in right above the heel. I tried a size up and it still digs in but not as bad but lacks overall compression so I still get pain where I broke my foot. So I wear the right size but just always wear tape or a bandaid on my heel. Which is defiantly an inconvenience.

I wanted to use this a few weeks before reviewing it. When I first put on the ankle sleeve I didn't like it, it was very very snug on my heel and foot so I thought I had purchased the wrong size (medium) but after wearing for workouts and bike riding it does give good support to my ankle joint and Achilles tendinitis pain. The heel fit isn't great but it has slightly loosened up around the heel area making it much better to use. I don't know if I could or would wear this all day long, but for an hour or two at a time it does the job for me.

Decent product. Took a star off because I just don't know if they are working. I know that sounds stupid but it really is the case.They are bit tight to put on. You def need to wrangle it and maybe scrape up your fingers a little. However, after I put them on, I don't feel them after a few minutes. Are they compressing my ankle? give me extra support? I have no idea but it is comfortable. I had a different one from Walmart but they were made from that stretchy spandex stuff. I feel that more but it cuts off circulation around the openings so I can't wear them long. I can wear the copper wear a lot longer, but again, are they doing anything?

The copper wear ankle sleeve makes my ankle fill better after I go to the gym. One thing wrong is I didn't know what size to get, I have small ankles so I thought I should get meddium but it's a little hard to get on and off. There should be a way to find out what size people should get. I almost got the small glad I didn't, but I tthink I could of gotten a large. The one I got is good but hard to get on and off.

Had high hopes, still consulting doctors for 2 years. I have ankle issues, likely needing surgery but looking for any improvement I gave this a try. It is very lightweight and was skeptical about its ability to do anything. I noticed an improvement for the first two days using it but eventually my pain came back. Great for summer and using the item on days that are less active, otherwise I need more support. Not the magic answer to my particular problem but everyone is different and could work for others.

I tried two sizes, medium and large. First the medium, it was very very tight and difficult to get on and was real tight. While I could feel compression, it as as a result of it being tight not by design. I was afraid the seams would tear, although they were seemingly well constructed. I sent these back and ordered the large. Unfortunately these did not work either . They went on much easier than the medium but offered no compression and felt no more like a sock . In fact they stayed up initially but as I moved around they fell down . It would seem to me that at least in my case I was between what the manufacturer considered a medium and a large size . I felt absolutely no positive effects from the copper threads. I suppose if I was able to get the proper size the compression along with the benefits of the copper might ultimately have been realized . I tried the large for a few days while wearing a sock over it and felt absolutely no beneficial effects from wearing it and based on this experience as well as trying two different sizes just cannot recommend this product. I would say however and in fairness to the manufacturer, the stitching and quality seems reasonable enough for a product made in China.

I had never worn anything similar. I had recurrent sprains in one of my ankles and the Doctor told me that I would benefit from protecting my ankle whenever I work out. He recommended something outrageously bulky but I couldn't fit my tennis shoes in them, let alone be able to run with them. I bought these compression sleeves and they do the job. I feel my foot more secured and I can barely tell I have the sleeve on.
