The denarii coin pendant is skillfully crafted in solid sterling silver, carefully hand finished, and individually inspected for the highest quality by our staff. Anduriel's Blackened Denarius Necklace is officially licensed Dresden Files jewelry with the author. The Order of the Blackened Denarius is an organization of fallen angels who are bound to thirty ancient silver coins known as denarii. This coin holds the soul of Anduriel, a captain of Lucifer's fallen angels. Those bound souls seek to bond with a human host that they might lead, tempt, and influence until the mortal surrenders themselves to the fallen's control. Whoever touches the coins are tainted by the fallen within. The thirty coins are said to be the silver given to Judas Iiot in exchange for his betrayal of Jesus. Anduriel's pendant measures approximately 23.6 mm (15/16") long including the bail, 19.4 mm (3/4") wide, and 2.2 mm (just under 1/4") at the thickest point. The denarii coin is three dimensional and weighs approximately 5.5 grams. The side of the coin is stamped with a copyright symbol, our hallmark, and the metal content "STER". For the necklace option choose from a 24" long stainless steel rope chain or a 24" long black leather cord. The necklace comes packaged in a jewelry box with a card of authenticity and the single coin comes packaged in a satin jewelry pouch with a card of authenticity.
