Saved my film projector!
Used to replace an old, hard to find spring belt in a GAF 3100S movie projector. Made my first loop belt and it worked perfectly! Works better than the original belt ever did.

Great for rock tumbler!
This works super great for rock tumbler belts. Just be sure not to tight. Not enough give will destroy the roller bushings. Other then that I have been running one belt constant for over a month. I used a soldering iron with a flat tip to heat. Held each end of belt each side of tip then when started to melt i slid both ends together and held till cool. Be sure to get them even to keep the belt from jumping.

worked perfect for my design, tips below for welding
I was a little nervous about "ease of welding" claim but it worked just fine. I was building a drum carder for my daughter. My setup:razor blade in vise gripsplywood with hole slightly bigger than beltmounted both in bench clampheated razor until red with torchpressed belt to both sides of razorput each side into plywood hole and pushed together for 1 mincut away plywoodTook me 3 tries to get it damn near perfect. Make sure the joint ends are perfectly 90 degrees.

Awesome Item easy to weld into a drive belt.
I used this to fix my Braun 4-171 Food Processor ( its over 40yrs old ). hahahahahaTry googling that one. Not even specialty stores holding old parts would help. hahahahaThe good old days when things were built to last. $29.00 instead of spending $500.00 for a new one.

Excellent. Worked great
Glad I discovered this stuff. I created a couple of belts for 2 old movie projectors. Melted the cuts together with an old soldering iron with a spade tip. Tested for strength & was impressed with the solidity. I made a little jig to hold the ends together but in the end just lining them up by eye (with good magnification ) would work fine. The slight bulge after fusing the ends together can be trimmed with an exacto & fine sandpaper.
