Premium M2 Countersink Bit Set with Carrying Case, 5 Piece | Tri-Flat Shank

Unlike the cheapo TiN coated bits, this set really cuts nicely in hardwood, plywood and acrylic and is still pretty inexpensive. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra bucks and start here. I've used these on several projects in the past few months and have no complaints.

For a cheap set of countersink bits I was pretty impressed. Countersunk twenty two 5/16 holes in 1/4 plate steel with one bit. Cut just as good on the last hole as it did on the first one. I didn't even use cutting oil, that just seemed to make the bit get clogged with filings. I did let the bit cool down after every three or four holes though. Used them with a handheld drill, the piece I was working on was too large to do on the drill press.

These countersink bits are great for mild steel. I ran them at 470 RPM and got clean countersinks everytime in mild steel. I used plenty of cutting oil and kept a good feed rate, just enough make thin coils of steel as the cutters bore into the workpiece. I am more than impressed with the performance and the little metal storage case is a nice plus too. Great value for an excellent set.

I really like these cutters. I've used them on a few different wood species with no issues art all. I have also used the larges cutter on aluminum and it did the job easily and with precision. Nice set, i highly recommend them.

I haven't used them much, but when I have these have done a great job. Seems to be solid and well built, no wiggle at all when spinning at any speed. Cuts through metal smoothly and leaves a burr-free hole.I'm glad I spent a little bit more to get this level of quality.

The first set I got had bad bringing on a couple of the points. Second set I got were fine and work real well. I was actually able to clean up some bad holes in aluminum from some cheaper bits I returned

Have used three sizes thus, and they performed very well. Appreciate the case so I’m not having to dig through my tool bag to find the right one.
