It makes a nice little hide for my two young garter snakes but it would have to be a pretty small little lizard to fit in there. The texture on the outside isnt what I was expecting. It's kind of rough which makes it difficult to wipe off but overall I'm happy with it.

I bought this for my baby crested gecko. He likes to hide in it and climb on it. It is durable and a good purchase for the price.

The photo shows a seemingly adult gecko with this piece so I expected it to be a bit larger than it actually is. I suppose it would have worked if my gecko was a baby. I ended up returning this for something else. If you have a full grown gecko of any kind, this is not big enough.

It looks a little small compared to a leopard gecko there are some sharp edges but it's pretty easy to sand down, super easy to clean and durable.

I usually look into things I'm buying online really well. I check size and read reviews. Thought I had for this. But it is so small and is going to be useless for our new leopard gecko. The openings are so sharp, no creature is going to be able to get through unscathed. My loss, too much effort to put into returning for what it cost. Just going to buy one from the store I can see in person.

This review is based on purchase for Leopard Gecko usageThis is a TINY ceramic log. While the description states use for snakes and aquarium, this is purely aquarium only and from my few minutes handling it I cannot imagine how shortly it would last submerged in water. I have no idea what species of snake could use this.The edges of the opening are purely too sharp/edged for any reptile usage. Any leopard gecko attempting to enter this will cut themselves up.It does feel cheap and while I feel bad saying so, this has no business being used with reptiles.

Good value for your money. Dragon use to lay on top of it a lot. That’s the actual size in the pic with the dragon so if ur Lizard bigger, then I would advise you grab something else.
