Good envelopes

These are good envelopes and comparable to name brand or something you would purchase from Staples. The peel adhesive is nice so there is no envelope licking involved.The Amazon envelope measured at 8 7/8" x 3 7/8" and is plenty large enough to fit a check or standard size paper. I compared this to a medical bill envelope which measured at 8 3/4" x 3 3/4" so it was slightly larger and had the same security features. I put a check inside and could not see anything.These work well for both personal and business mailing.

GOOD ENVELOPES FOR THE PRICE
I am not sure what the negative reviews were about the self-stick adhesion. The package I got was fine. I even tried to pull apart after sealing and it was adhering fine. Maybe there was some old stock sold. I recommend these for security envelopes. The #9 size is perfect for most coupon payment stubs. Just make sure you check the dimensions before ordering to make sure you get the size you want.

Just the right size
I love these envelopes. They are a tad bit smaller than #10s and I feel sometimes when I send just a note and check, a #10 is quite flimsy. These #9 envelopes are more streamlined to process better through postal machines.

Not very sticky.
They are not real sticky. Always have to add tape or it will pop up.

A bit shorter than the usual business size envelope
These are slightly shorter than normal business sized envelopes. They work fine for me. They just can't be overstuffed. A 2-page letter is about all you'll get in these. (The description states this clearly but I missed that part. Lol!)

They are totally fine!
If you need business envelopes these work as they should. Fits my business checks from Chase perfectly. Like all security enhanced envelopes you can still make out check numbers if you try really hard. But you know, whatever! Nothing matters anymore.
