Lovely preamp however the bass control has very little gain.

Nice quality piece. I like that it has two outputs (one for sub, if needed). The volume control is smooth and predictable. The tone section is a nice addition and can be bypassed if the listener chooses to. The input selection switch is of high quality. I high;y recommend this unit. I bought mine on that famous online auction site before it was available on Amazon.

This is an outstanding piece of equipment and a great value . And tubes can always be upgrade if need be .
