APEC WATERSystems Tank-4 4 Gallon Residential Pre-Pressurized Reverse Osmosis Water Storage Tank

Was having issues with low pressure. Replaced all four filters. Still low pressure. Checked old tank and it had no pressure and when attempting to add air water was coming out of the air valve indicating the old tank was bad. Ordered this and it was pretty simple to install. After I installed it I still had the same issue and the tank was not filling up with water. Thought I was defeated but the next morning it was full and has been working great. Just needed some time I guess. The new tank does come pre pressurized. This came with a stand but not a new valve. I was able to use the old one.

This was a great replacement and reasonable. The pressure was just right on it and now problem solved. Before the bladder on the inside of the old tank was just worn and I was getting minimal water out. Now I get a good amount of water from the tank and the flow is perfect. I did not order a new valve but just took the valve off the old tank. The only thing that I would emphasize is to make sure to wrap the valve with teflon plumbers tape and then screw it on to the new tank. That will prevent leaking and will fit snug and tight.

Have had this installed for quite some time now and it has worked great. My original tank stopped holding pressure so i bought this replacement tank and it was awesome

Good Quality tank and absolutely zero taste from the bladder. And I am a water snob with years spent in the water filtration field for a job, so I know what I'm talking about. It did not come with a Ball Valve, but it did not claim to so I expected that. I just used the one from my original tank I was replacing.

There were no instructions or product information included with the shipment. The tank seems to be defective. I have replaced these tanks before and know how to install them. After 16 hours of filling, the water flow is very weak. There is a bladder inside the tank that provides the pressure for the water flow. I checked the pressure and it was about 6 PSI. I have no idea if that is the proper pressure, and I don't want to pump it up and possibly damage it. I have reached out to the vendor and am awaiting a reply. I may be able to change my rating if I get good results.Good news, I found another issue with my filtration system and the tank was not the problem. These tanks from Apec are really very good quality. One that I replaced years ago is still working well. I have changed my rating to a 4, because I am still disappointed there was no documentation included in the shipment.

Tank arrived with a small dent, doesn't affect the usage. I added this to an under sink type system that comes with its own 2 gallon tank, but needed more water capacity. Added a "tee" fitting between the two tanks and boom, extra water! I didn't have any taste or odor from the tank, so that's a bonus. Functions perfectly for its purpose. I'm using it "upside down" in the provided stand with no ill effects, mainly because the fitting required to add my push to fit tubing would be a little close if it were on the bottom. If you were replacing another tank with this one, you'd have zero issues installing it in a pre-assembled system.

This tank was incredibly easy to install, able to fit under the sink no issue and is built to last. It filtered the water really well and made the taste excellent.
