Pretty good for $280
Was able to get this one sale for $280, feels like a really good value. Was looking for something to store my vinyl records while partially hiding them from view, and this fit the bill. The material is definitely better than the cheap particleboard or painted MDF typically in <$200 knockdown furniture. The material is denser than particleboard with decent looking grain on it, I don't think (?) it's MDF either as the screws dug in pretty snugly. It's a little on the soft side, so be careful not to drop or abuse it, and use a soft mallet if you need to tap it during assembly. The back shear panel looks to be a thin piece of plywood rather than cardboard - they did have major bows to them, but once screwed in it's not so bad.The only tricky part of assembly was when attaching the top panel, the dowels wouldn't align easily, so had to loosen some of the cam fittings on the side panels to allow enough slop to get things to fit. Tightened things back up and all was good. The doors had enough adjustment to allow for decent alignment and smooth operation. The doors come with the window panels captured (I think they are a plexi and not glass), so no screwing them in which tends to look cheap and come loose over time.Worst part was the adhesive stickers for marking each part and their assembly orientation. The residue is pretty tenacious so I had to wet and scrub to get most of it off, thankfully the discoloration it leaves is in places you won't see very often. One part came slightly damaged, but was easy to repair and of little consequence. A nice plus was that it includes a lot of extra assembly hardware.I used wood glue on the dowels, even though the instructions don't suggest it, so hopefully it holds up well in the long run. Very happy with my purchase so far...

I absolutely love my cabinet
This is a great cabinet. absolutely no problems at all putting it together, it even came with extra parts, including the tool to help you put it together. The only issue that I have with this cabinet is the stain and varnish smell is strong, but I took a cleaner and washed it all down, and it smells much better. It is perfect for what I needed it for and I’m using it in my kitchen as a sideboard for a lot of my appliances I don’t have room for on my counter. Plus, you have the large top to place other items on which I am using my more delicate things to sit on top. If you buy this cabinet, you will be thankful, it is great. It is made out of real wood, not that pressboard particleboard mess, it’s real. it is extremely sturdy and being it’s real wood, the price point is a great value. It has a huge amount of storage inside.

Sturdy and Appealing.....Assembly pieces need a couple of tweaks
A very nice piece of furniture by SIMPLIHOME.The amber wood color with the glass doors and small cubbies for components, etc. gives the piece a very appealing look. It is a quite sturdy and the seams or gaps between the panels and doors all line up very nicely with no uneven lines. It is quite a bit larger than I thought that it would be after assembly both in height and width and even depth.Just a bit about the assembly: the pieces / panels are large and heavy and you will need a large flat area covered in carpet or a drop cloth in order to do the assembly. You must take time to read the assembly directions. They are quite detailed and seemed very complete to me.Two items that I found to be troublesome with the assembly:1. The large holes for the inserts were drilled too deep, so that if you pushed the insert all the way into the hole, then it was seated too deep to catch the pin when turning the other side of the insert with a screwdriver when fastening the large panels.2. The starting divots or holes for the small screws were not drilled deep enough. So for most all you could not start the screw by hand and then grab your screwdriver to finish screwing the screw into the hole to fasten. I found myself constantly trying to juggle the small screw and screwdriver and dropping the screws. Drilling these holes about 1/16th of an inch deeper would solve this problem. However, even with a couple of minor flaws with the manufacture, specifically the hole drilling of the panels, the piece is quite substantial and a nice enhancement to my living space.

Missing Screws
Package was missing the screws for the knobs - but it seems like decent quality for the price.

Nice piece of furniture
Very solid and looks great. Do wish it didn’t have a center divider. Pretty easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. Including a few extra pieces of hardware. When installing the doors it was easier to put the hinges on the cabinet then attach the doors to them

It was easy to assemble and it looks great
I bought this to hold TV and network equipment for my place. The box arrived kind of thrashed but it was well packaged and none of the parts were damaged. I have assembled cabinets before and have not needed to use any spare parts, but I did so on this one. The hole where the cam locks fit in and lock to the screws studs on one side were a little shallow. I tried to lock them in but the cams snapped in two when I put a little pressure on them to lock. After I broke one, I backed off the screw stud a bit and used the spare cam lock. The other on the same side cracked and I had to replace that one as well. Be gentle on the cam locks. The instructions also said you needed a square to align the back before nailing it on. I didn't have one, but used a study piece of cardboard to align it. Doors and hinges attached well and were easily adjusted. All in all, happy with purchase. It took about 2 hours to assemble.

Great sturdy product.
Had problem with missing or misdrilled screw holes. That left a few imperfections and difficulty putting cabinet together. Good quality for the money.
