The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my faux wall fireplace/mantle build. I spent a LOT of time researching electric fireplaces and settled on Touchstone based on a lot of positive reviews across multiple review sites. I am glad I did.The fireplace arrived well packaged and protected. Having a glass front is always a gamble in shipping but they had it secured and safe. Setup took a little while but the instructions were clear. I had built the frame of my wall already- I looked up the interior diameter for the wall via their website/manual so I knew how big to make it. It fit well and after a little shim work (my own doing from an uneven floor), it was level and secure. I decided to go with the log option for a more natural fireplace look, but it comes with the stones too.After getting it assembled I turned it on and it was producing a flame effect but only on one side of the fireplace (right side), and I noticed a knocking noise coming from the unit. I tried to figure it out myself and was worried my purchase was a dud. After calling Touchstone, I was transferred to a product support person and he was able to help me diagnose that the rod that rotates to produce the flame effect had come out of its holder on the left side. Product support walked me through getting the flame face off, and getting the rod back in its holder. He said every once in a while it can pop out in shipping, but if I still had issues to call back. It did fix my issue, so I was happy with the resolution.After fixing this, I played with different flame settings to find one I liked. I have gotten a TON of compliments on the ambiance it brings to my living room. I have not really used the heater function… I have a large open floor plan and when I had heat on you had to be pretty close to the fireplace to feel the heat. Not a big deal for me, I use it for the fireplace look and not to heat my room. I have no doubt it would provide good heat to a smaller room.Overall 5/5 for the product and 5/5 for customer support. I will recommend Touchstone to all of my friends and family if they are looking for a fireplace!

Great looking electric fireplace. Clean, sleek look with the black edging and tempered glass. Flame options are nice, quiet operation. A real accent to the new wall unit we had built.Customer support team is great and highly responsive. They helped walk me through how to check something that in the unit.Relatively easy to install, but because it is made to last, materials are heavier than other cheaper fireplaces. Should have a second person help lift into place and secure.Overall, very pleased with the purchase. Make certain to install app if you buy the WiFi enabled version. Easier to adjust settings.

This Elite line looks great with the wider window, and the more modern looking vents. Definitely worth the upgrade from the regular Sideline option.We looked for electric fireplaces in the local stores, and everything seemed outdated or overcomplicated to install... we found Touchstone online which has great features and reviews.Our contractor installed it, but the instructions were straightforward for them to do the rough in, hardwire it, and then make it part of the statement piece in our room. DIY installation is possible, but you definitely need to have above the average skills.Color options for the fire and media are great, with different brightness levels. Once you connect it via wifi you can see so many more options that with the standard RC. It can also be controlled by Alexa, which is a really good feature. Heat output hardwired is good enough.Delivery warning: it arrived 12 days earlier than Amazon's estimate, and the tracking option was delayed. Keep an eye on it as the courier was trying to offload the panel in front of our main garage door without us knowing. It arrives on a pallet, which will require 2 to move because of the size.Overall, we are very happy how this looks and performs. Definitely an option we recommend.

The TS Sideline Elite is definitely worth the extra investment! It’s as realistic as an electric fireplace can be. The Elite series slim trim looks amazing! Heat is as expected for 1500 watts
