So pleased with how this floss works: more comfortable, stronger, more effective than all the "normal" floss types I've tried.I bought this because I was so uncomfortable about using dental floss every day and I could just imagine the little strands becoming microplastics very quickly.Compared to plastic floss, this has a nice cotton-like feel: it seems like it's doing a better job of *brushing* between teeth rather than just wiping as the plastic feels like it's doing. The line holds together better, where some of the multi-strand plastic flosses unravel into fibres which feel horrible and sometimes actually got stuck in between my teeth.The container is very small: the photos don't really make it clear but the whole thing is only about 2/3 the size of a lip balm.

Love that this is sustainable but was surprised there was no tamper-proof hygiene seal on the box and the floss is a little too thick so doesn't glide as easily.

Really happy with this product, I spent a lot of time researching to try find the best sustainable floss as had been frustrated by flosses that claim they were sustainable but then were still polyester fibres. This takes all the boxes with being biodegradable, vegan, buy bulk to minimise shipping. Was a little concerned that the product might not be as good as the regular polyester floss I had been using as I had seen lots of reviews of eco-floss in general saying that they tend to be hard to fit teeth or break- this is neither! I've had it a week now and I use it as well as my parents, (who are both dental specialists) and we all love it- fits between the narrow gap between teeth I have and we haven't had any issues with breakage. I will be recommending this to everyone!

Really good and better than normal dental string

Some people have questioned whether or not this is made entirely from bamboo, or has some petroleum-based plastic element to it.As you can see from the photos I've posted the ingredients (I had to delicately peel the Amazon seller's sticker off to get to them) say that there are only three:*Bamboo charcoal fibre*Candellia wax*Mint extractBamboo is stronger per pound than high-tensile steel, so I think it's reasonable to assume it can be used to floss your teeth without the need for any plastic to be added!All that aside, this floss is excellent. There is loads of it, and an individual strand can last a very long time if you want it to (ultimately less waste all round), indeed much longer than normal floss, before it starts to fray. You can measure its duration in weeks.The flavour is pleasant and subtle. I find twisting it around my fingers to get purchase doesn't lead to any accidental cuts or marks which I've had with some other conventional flosses. Overall I'm very happy, and would certainly buy it again.

When my hygienist told me I needed to floss, I wasn't keen to use and discard of the plastic stuff. So I was delighted to find a biodegradable alternative. This is perfectly effective, indistinguishable from plastic floss, and I expect I'll purchase again when I run out. The little dispenser makes it convenient to use and also to see how much is remaining.

I do like how this floss is biodegradable because it is not just plastic that will last for centuries, and it does the job (scraping my teeth clean) and tastes/smells minty, but it splits/frayes quite easily which is a bummer, as I probably end up using more than I would like to
