Transfer board is an ideal method to move from one chair/bed to another chair
This transfer board has been used about 12 times with a transport wheel chair since receiving it and has worked perfectly each time. The board is made of very sturdy hardwood with cut out handles at each end. Enhanced the smooth finished surface with several coats of furniture wax to eliminate any resistance to sliding on the board. Very pleased with this transfer board and would recommend this board for anyone that has a need for one.

Strong transfer board
My husband uses this board to transfer from his wheelchair to his power chair or to his recliner. It works very well for his needs to help aid his mobility.

Nicely finished board that does the trick.
This board is hardwood and very nicely finished off so smooth and easy to use. Bought it to help my disabled husband transition from the front seat of our conversion van to his mobility cart in the back seatarea. We put velcro on the back side so we can store it in between the front seats on it's side when not in use. Handles are well placed on the board too, which helps with positioning. Highly recommend this product. Only wish it would have come in a smaller version, like 24" instead of 30 but as long as it does the trick, I'm happy and so is hubby.

Beware the hand holds
The board itself is great. Early on when I had to help move my father his hip would get stuck in the hand holds. But as he regained his strength and was using it unassisted the hand holds were very helpful.The board itself is high quality and I would purchase again.

Works Well
This transfer board is perfect. My Dad's in a wheelchair and is this thing handy. It helps me to help him. A LOT. No strain on my back or his.This is a great item.

Slick board
No need to wax this it did what I was told.It helped me go from wheelchair to get without any problems

Received returned item
Received the slide transfer board that had been returned. It's sturdy and works well, though we had to put a pillow case over it so her skin doesn't stick to it. But we were expecting a brand new item as was listed.
