This product was advertised as "soft sour balls 5lb bag". Four of those words are true. There is indeed 5 pounds of candy here, and it does come in a bag. The candy is ball-shaped, and it is soft rather than hard. But it is NOT sour.When I eat a sour candy, I want my lips to pucker. I want my eyes to tear up. I want my tongue to lose all sensation of taste. I want to lose my voice for several days from the sheer acidity of it all. I am sorely dissapointed that I will not be losing my voice tonight, because these candies are NOT sour AT ALL!I would return my product for a refund, however due to food safety regulations they are not permitted to restock a food product once it has been opened. As such, I am now stuck with five entire pounds of candy that do not quench my thirst for a sour experience. The disappointment runs deep, as it is an infrequent thing that I treat myself to when I buy wholesale size bags of candies. I do not rush to the known joys, but rather seek out the unknown. This abomonation, this so-called "sour" experience that I have wasted both time and money on... it does not satisfy me.Don't get me wrong, it's good candy. It's just not sour.

I bought these because I was craving chewy lemonheads but I couldn't find any, anywhere! So I went on the internet and discovered this Amazon item "equivalent".I mean, they're good, I guess. The flavors are on-point and taste just like a chewy lemonhead (cherry, apple, orange, lemon, grape). But the texture is not right. The candy consists of a large, soft-jelly (maybe a little too soft?) coated in a hard-er candy shell. But the shell isn't hard, or even chewy. When you bite into it, the candy shell just disintegrates in your mouth kinda like kinetic sand. No, I don't eat kinetic sand, but if I did, this is how I imagine the texture feeling like... And then you get your whole tooth stuck in the soft jelly-like center. Its too soft because there's so much of it. These candy balls are the size of grapes. And this might be a "less is more" example. It might be better if the jelly center were smaller.I don't know... Flavor is good. Texture is bad. I bought 'em and they're here so... I'm still going to eat them, but I won't like it.
